I am 100% sure they increased the difficulty I saw a streamer that got an early code and he was playing on that build and bosses had less HP, not sure about the damage tho

Saying the game is too easy is the biggest bullshit I’ve ever heard. Some reviewers probably just want to make themselves look tough. It’s not Souls-level hard, but it’s definitely not easy. Some of the bosses in Chapter 2 gave me a real struggle especially the end of the chapter

Yeah, even skilled content creators and streamers doing Elden Ring walkthroughs say the game isn't easy, even with strong builds. I've seen the builds. they're solid. They still find it challenging. I don't get why some call it easy. I'm starting to suspect they just rush reviews by lowering the difficulty to finish sections quickly.

Most of the time i don’t watch reviews i just watch the official gameplay trailer or devs from the studio itself bcs the first thing i do is understanding the vision and scope behind the game

I started on Hellraiser difficulty and man every boss I want to switch to easier difficulty lol. I’d compare these bosses in difficulty to “Khazan”.. even then at least with Khazan bosses you could get down and memorize attack sequence. Zero bosses seem more random in what they do.

If you do everything possible to get the true ending (all side stuff before Mirage Estate) you will become unbelievably OP for the engage stuff.

Ok i play Dark Souls and other souls likes but its not for the difficulty is more for the aesthetics than anything else. I have never understood this bloody obsession with difficulty after all its very subjective

I actually see why Eurogamer gave 60. You just sit in the block the whole time to press encounters and only after that you can hit the boss with HUGE health bar. Animations are awesome but I don't feel impact at all in this game

I mean I don't care one way or the other, but when fextra oneshot the last 15 bosses or so, that basically means you don't have to learn movement patterns or anything of the bosses so it's just to easy, no?
