Thank you NYT for this coverage. PBMs are unique to the US and no matter what “cost savings” they claim they provide, they are a major reason the drug prices are inflated in our country. We need to get rid of this industry. And yes, their execs make $millions by scamming us

PBMs force us to their 1 star rated pharmacies. They remove safe local access. They overcharge many for medications as they force their pharmacies. America deserves justice.

Isn’t there conflict of interest when PBMs own Walgreens, CVS pharmacies, and mail orders and PBM force patients to fill exclusively their 90 days supply meds at these pharmacies? Many independent pharmacies are excluded. Medicare D 90DS with DIR fees w/c benefits PBM? MONOPOLY!

Nice work @RebeccaDRobbins Now look into why Humira, despite generic biosimilars finally available on the market, is still selling as much as it is. PBMs play a major role blocking penetration of generics and lowering drug costs. Humira still generated $14B last year
