VP VANCE PREDICTED: PEOPLE ARE GOING TO GET ANGRY, AND RIGHTFULLY SO "This stuff we can and we should prosecute, and I'm just telling you, this is going to be a real problem, and the people are going to get really pissed at Senate Republicans if we don't have the U.S. attorneys on the ground to actually achieve justice. People are going to get angry, and rightfully so." If you want justice, you've got to empower the President of the United States to actually appoint the officers of justice all over the country. The Democrats are stalling that, and we're going to wake up in a couple of years, if we don't have more U.S. attorneys approved, if we don't have more judges approved, we're going to wake up in a couple of years and realize that we've done a lot of great work at the Trump administration, but justice is not being meted out as it should be because we don't have the people on the ground. That is a big problem, and I know that's somewhat unrelated to Arctic Frost, but it actually is related to Arctic Frost, because you cannot get the justice for the people who are targeted by the Biden administration unless we've got good people, especially in these U.S. attorneys offices, and that's something we've got to pay attention to over the next year. Spying on President Trump, prosecuting him, investigating senators, congressmen, and congressmen who are just aligned with the President of the United States some of this stuff is going to get covered by statute of limitations, but some of this stuff we can and we should prosecute, and I'm just telling you, this is going to be a real problem, and the people who watch your show are going to get really pissed at Senate Republicans, excuse my language, if we don't have the U.S. attorneys on the ground to actually achieve justice, people are going to get angry, and rightfully so. This is it! . 1 year ago today, I walked off the mound for the last time! . It took everything in my power not to cry immediately while leaving the field. My wave to the crowd was to my family. All 15 of them. I wanted them all there to experience it with me. When I looked up in to the crowd, and saw the excitement of my sons, parents, sisters and their husbands, my nieces and nephews…it was everything I could have ever wanted to end my career! . I got to rewrite my storybook finish! . Thank you Port Dover, Team Ontario, Team Canada, University of Notre Dame, Canisius College, Brantford Red Sox and the WMBL for molding me. The Yankees for being the only team to give me a shot in pro ball back in 2007…and promptly releasing me…ha! An enormous amount of thanks and gratitude to the Brewers for giving me a second chance, and the amazing people in that organization that stuck with me and helped launch my career. Milwaukee is always in my heart. Thank you to the wonderful organizations in St. Louis, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Colorado, and Los Angeles. Every one was an incredible stop along this journey. I will love Oakland and feel at home there forever. And as a Canadian kid, growing up a fan of the Blue Jays, it will always be surreal to me that I got suit up in that uniform and pitch for my hometown team. My love of Major League baseball started in Toronto…and will continue there for the rest of my life! . Thank you to all the fans, every coach, teammate, trainer, front office staff, clubhouse worker, therapist, friend, and everyone along the way. Your impact was immeasurable. . Thank you to my agent Danny Horwits and everyone at BHSC…instead of just being my agent you were my friend and a part of my family. . Lastly, I wouldn’t have had the career I did without my family and their continuous support. To my parents, Brian and Vera…thank you for everything. My sisters Marsha, Michelle, and Theresa, your sacrifices didn’t go unnoticed. I love you all immensely. And, of course, my sons JB and Jameson… I’m so happy I got share part this journey with you both. And even happier to move on to your journeys next! I love you both forever. . That is it! . James Dyson’s advice for founders: “You have to enjoy failure” “If you are exploring new territory, experimenting, and trying to do something different, you’re going to fail many times and you’ve got to bounce back from it,” James Dyson explains. The billionaire inventor argues that you should actually learn to enjoy failure: “Failure is so much more interesting than success — the reason something goes wrong is often very interesting whereas if works you just say ‘great that works’ and don’t even stop to wonder why it works. You’ve got to learn to enjoy failure. That sounds like a difficult thing to do, but you have to enjoy failure if you want to improve things.” He continues: “It always saddens me that school doesn’t really teach that. At school or university, the thing is to be brilliant and get the answer right the first time. There are brilliant people who can do that, but for the rest of us, we’re not brilliant and to get there we have to strive and go through failure. You don’t get it right the first time. You don’t get it right the second time. In my case, and I counted it, it was 5,127 times . . . That sounds like struggle and it was a struggle, but it was a hugely enjoyable struggle. The debt was mounting, and I had three children, a wife, a home, and a mortgage to pay like everybody else, but I had a real aim in life and I had to get there. And the failures were interesting because I learned from almost every single one of them.” James Dyson concludes his autobiography by saying: "Listen, it's easy for me to celebrate my doggedness now. I made $300 million last year, but I'd be lying to you if there weren't times where I went inside my house, had my wife look at me like I'm a failure, and cry myself to sleep. I got up and did it again anyway because excellence is the capacity to take pain.” Video source: David Senra (2025)

When I was in pro ball, even throwing in the mid 90s, I never did this. But I honestly think it’s one of the biggest things that’s going to help me get to 100 miles an hour. One of the most underrated ways to throw harder is to implement cross training. Now, cross training in terms of pitching just means you’ll be using something other than the baseball to throw. For example, you see Yamamoto in the big leagues right now. He attributes a lot of his velocity gains to javelin throwing, and he’s thrown the javelin for many, many years. There’s another pitcher who’s one of the best pitchers in college baseball right now in Japan who’s up to 102 miles an hour and attributes a lot of his success to throwing the volleyball and the volleyball teaching him how to move. For myself, I use a football to clean up my arm action. When you use different implements, it’ll give you a new stimulus. It can clean up a lot of the mechanics that you wouldn’t be able to with the baseball itself. For myself and my training to throw 100 miles an hour, I use all of these implements for my arm action. Now, I have a tendency of forearm flyout where my forearm flies out this way, and so I want to keep it a little bit more directed toward the plate. Some of the best ways to do this is to throw the javelin. Because to throw the javelin far, you can’t be flying out. You need to go straight through. The football as well needs to be straight through. Also, just hitting the volleyball. I love watching volleyball players hit the volleyball because the upper mechanics are so efficient. So if you feel stuck in your training, start incorporating cross training.

Before the open edition tomorrow I wanted to share more on how this new collection came to be. Last year we've all experienced a major shift in the algorithm. Our reach was severely impacted and art posts seemed to be gone in favor of junk/rage posts. Around June last year while sketching in my notebook I doodled a Mickey-esque character with its head squashed by an old monitor. I came up with a rough result in after effects and dismissed it quickly as a nice experiment and nothing more. A couple of months went by and I reopened the files. Added some sounds and once again, in my head it was just a little detour before I make a new piece. Showed it to my wife and she loved it. But still I wasn't sure what to do with it. It looks different next to my other pieces. Thought it's cool but moved on. End of the year was very hard on me, I won't elaborate too much here but If you've been following me you know I had a personal loss. For a while I couldn't even think of creating anything new. Then I reopened the files for this one, and slowly worked my way into refining it. And while doing so I started liking this style more and more. Figured an accessible new collection would work perfectly for this. Getting my art in more hands is the priority here. Seeing your replies that you can finally get an edition of mine really warms my heart and makes this whole thing worthwhile. Hope you'll take this journey with me to see this collection grow over time as I make more and more editions with a fresh take in the Vintage Distortions series. Thanks for reading all my mumblings. Oh, and FUCK THE ALGO! 🖤
