Great memories! We were bad back then but it really didn’t matter because the love for the NYY is legit plus sharing it with family & friends, while having the opportunity to see all those legends who wear the pinstripes & hearing Holly Cow! from Phil Rizzuto with Bill White next to him was gold. (Sounds of my childhood) Then after all those years having an opportunity to see a new generation come up and win 5 WS championships was just a incredible feeling of happiness, this is why win or lose, real once would be Yankees fans 4 life.

And watching them go from bad to World Series Champions! I just turned 60 and remember watching the Chambliss home run, like it was yesterday!

I always said that when Rizzutto passed, my childhood ended…

I was just saying this the other day! While at my sons house in CT (he has YouTube TV that doesn’t get YES or MLB) I’m trying to figure out all the things I’d have to download and pay for just to see a spring training game. It’s ridiculous. Gimme good ol’ PIX11.
