PCG and BFAR discovered the 300-meter floating barrier during a routine maritime patrol on September 22 at the vicinity of Bajo de Masinloc Shoal. 📸 @coastguardph

Filipino fishermen reported to the authorities that the China Coast Guard vessels “usually install floating barriers whenever they monitor a large number of Filipino fishermen in the area.” 📸 @coastguardph

PCG said 4 China Coast Guard (CCG) vessels initiated a series of 15 radio challenges in an attempt to drive away the BFAR vessel & Filipino fishing boats. PCG added that CCG crew alleged that the presence of the Filipino vessels violated international law and the domestic laws of the People's Republic of China. 📸 @coastguardph

PCG stated that the BFAR vessel responded to all radio challenges and reiterated that they were conducting a routine patrol within the territorial sea of Bajo de Masinloc. PCG added that once the China Coast Guard vessels noticed the presence of media on board the BFAR vessel, they maintained a safe distance and departed from the area.

Congrats sa mga bumoboto pa rin sa mga Hudas na’to. Taasan niyo pa trust rating mga hunghang. 🥰 Taasan niyo pa confidential funds ni Sara Duterte kesa sa Philippine Coast Guard. 🙂 Basta #DuterteTraydor 👊🏽 #BajoDeMasinloc #WestPhilippineSea

Imagine being so evil you place barriers to prevent fisherman accessing their common fishing grounds.

Why is the Coast Guard not removing the barriers after discovering it? Hanggang video na lang ba tayo? If we are firm in our claim then tanggalin natin yan.

Pwede bang putulin yan?
