Phillips O'Brien: "So even if the Trump administration gets an acceptable peace deal now, it’ll be in a worse strategic position than it was in February. That’s the reality of this war. And states are making their own calculations that the US is not going to be as reliable."

Grok has Philips O'Brien ever served in the military. No O'Brien has never served in the military or been to war. Grok has Bill Kristol ever served in the military. No Kristol never served in the military or been to war.

Lame duck President Felon never will accept blame or responsibility for the Iran War. When under pressure, he’ll point to his shoe shine boy @PeteHegseth at the Pentagon.

I'm just an amateur armchair general playing the Grand Game in my head, & even I could see this coming down the pike in February when we attacked. There's a price to be paid for having power but capriciously casting off humility, and that price is to fall from being a superpower

Overthrow the regimes of 7 Middle Eastern countries in 5 years and put western leaders in place. Gen Wesley Clark (retd U.S. Army general and former NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe) publicly described a post-9/11 Pentagon plan to “take out seven countries in five years.”

Hey O'brien tell us about Bill's plan with WH about taking over 7 middle Eastern countries in 5 years. Secretary of Defense according to Clark said it outlined a plan “to take out 7 countries in 5 years, starting with Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan & Iran.”

Tell us about Bill's fvcking Iraq war plan that caused the deaths of 5,000 US soldiers. Did he create the worst strategic position by helping the rise of Isis and destabilize the whole Middle East Region.

#BREAKING:🔥Katy Tur: “Donald Trump’s presidency isn’t just exhausting Americans here at home, which it is…he’s exhausting the world and his schtick is old, which means that even when he makes big proclamations like a peace deal with #Iran…not everyone fully buys it. In fact they are apt to take a more critical look as Tom Nichols did today in The Atlantic for example: ‘Even before we have the details, it is clear that Trump has failed to achieve every one of the goals he put forward for this war of choice, and now he’s determined to sign seal and deliver America’s capitulation as quickly as possible.’ For instance, the administration says the Strait of Hormuz will be reopened completely this Friday and it will be toll free, but it was already toll free before the war began. The regime in Iran, which Donald Trump insisted would be changed did not change, and the country’s nuclear capabilities have only been set back, not eliminated. So is this peace deal going to do what the bombs did not? It’s unlikely. More likely is that it looks something like the Obama deal which Donald Trump ripped up, except this deal first cost the U.S. at least $50 billion, more than a dozen American lives, and tens of billions in economic fallout, not to mention a steep decline in Donald Trump’s overall domestic political support. So was it worth it, or was it like the cage match on the White House lawn, just a performance of strength?” 😳

🇬🇧🇺🇦In a summit with Zelensky and other now-panicking European vassal states, UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer says the summit’s goal is to outline a plan to stop the fighting in Ukraine and then discuss that with the United States. Pure delusion. Starmer and these other European vassals have now deluded themselves into thinking that after screaming to keep the proxy war going for as long as it takes, that Donald Trump actually would give a moment of serious thought to what Europe has to say about the Ukraine proxy war. This was always Washington’s proxy war, the UK and Europe were simply the attack dogs on the US’ leash. The end of the proxy war and the terms of its conclusion will be decided by Washington and Moscow. Vladimir Putin doesn’t trust the UK’s and Europe’s leaders as far as he can throw them, so he will ignore any of their maximalist proposals. Donald Trump will be confused that the US’ loyal vassals are daring to try and formulate a plan of their own, and actually think it will get anywhere. The ‘plan’ that these band of clowns will reach will be given to Donald Trump on a silver platter, tied up in a beautiful ribbon. Trump will take this ‘plan’ and unceremoniously throw it in the bin and continue the only serious diplomacy going on right now, which is between Washington and Moscow. In summary, the US’ approach will be to look at this plan, toss it aside, say ‘anyway’, and continue direct negotiations with Putin. This summit is nothing but political performative pantomime for domestic political consumption in the Western European rump of Eurasia. Sir Keir Starmer is trying to be the ‘great consequential statesman’ he thinks he is, European leaders are trying to look like they’re actually doing something of consequence while the world looks at them as vassals, and Zelensky is trying to sell a false reality to Ukrainians that it doesn’t matter if the Trump administration detests him, at least the irrelevant European leaders are on his side. After promoting continuing the failed proxy war for as long as it takes for years, now this confusing, irrelevant performance of pretending to want peace.
