Officer holds man at gunpoint that does not fit description of the person he is looking for. Officer Kerzaya was called out to this hotel as a white man pulled a gun on the hotel staff. As the officer was searching the premises he ran into Trey an employee of the hotel and also African American. The officer proceeded to pull his firearm on and hold Trey at gun point for a number of minutes. The whole time Trey had his hands up and was eventually on his knees. Once verified Trey was an employee all he said to him was get out of here. Next this officer pulled his gun on another person in the hotel that also did not fit the description. The officer resigned from duty as his certification was stripped from him. Trey filed suit against the city and pulled in a settlement.

This gentleman was getting work don’t on his car, so he rented a car from Enterprise so he could get to work for the next few days. They were supposed to get him at 5pm, 5pm comes around and nobody came. He calls them at 5:10 to see what happened and if they were coming. He ended up having to get to Enterprise himself to speak to the manager, the manager claims he was being a jerk and tells him he won’t rent him a car and to leave. Considering the circumstances I thought the man was being calm. What would you do at this point?

Now he lives for free in a hotel with free food. He also mentioned that other guys from his hotel went to Rugby and committed sexual assault. I have a big issue with those who commit sexual assaults. But the government is to blame more than these people.

Today, this young man approached me and shared his story, hoping that I could help him find an opportunity. He is a person living with a disability and was born without both hands. Despite the challenges he faces, he has taught himself to repair phones and laptops. However, he does not have a shop and currently works mobile, moving from place to place to earn a living. He told me that he lives in Mukuru Kwa Reuben and does everything possible to take care of himself. He even cooks for himself and handles his daily basic chores independently. His biggest request is for an opportunity to work in his field or support to help him open his own repair shop.
