Phoenix is a donut-shaped space capsule made by Germany’s Atmos Space Cargo. It has an inflatable heat shield and can carry payloads back from space to Earth. The capsule completed one orbit aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 and safely splashed down near Brazil on April 23, 2025.
