One factual correction worth making to the original post: 100 Mainnet/Mainnet-ready apps was already achieved as part of Pi's Open Network launch in February 2025. The newer “82 apps / 18 more” figure appears to be a narrower current community count, so it shouldn't be presented as if Pi is approaching its original Open Network requirement for the first time. Also, Protocol 26 is indeed part of Pi's recent protocol-upgrade sequence, but its primary significance is infrastructure—contract safety, state management, cryptographic capabilities and related functionality—not simply “cementing high-speed retail utility
