Just wrapped up Hardwood Empire 3.2. A lot of the most asked for features / improvements you guys have been pushing for are in this one. Live Interactive Court: Biggest visual upgrade we've made. Gamecast now has a full live court built into the sim with dynamic home court branding, center logos, arena styling, and live shot mapping. You can actually see where shots happen in real time instead of just reading text. Dynamic Crowds: Arenas feel alive now. Crowds scale based on prestige, so blue blood home games feel packed while smaller gyms feel smaller. Neutral site games can have split crowds depending on who's playing, and fans react live during big moments. Usage Control System: Still the normal 1st / 2nd / 3rd option setup, but now there's also full usage sliders if you want total control over offensive shot distribution. One guy taking over or a completely balanced system, totally up to you. Plugs directly into the actual sim. Music: Added in-game soundtracks for a more immersive experience, with more music coming next update. Gameplay / Sim Improvements: Big realism pass. Late game logic is much smarter, offensive systems behave more realistically, and I spent a lot of time tuning sim rates so scoring, assists, rebounds, pace, and advanced metrics better match modern college basketball. Also tuned long-term dynasty balance so smaller / mid-major schools can still have real breakthrough runs without turning into permanent national powers every save. Other Fixes + QOL: New Player IQ attribute. Working haptics on iOS + Android. Transfer portal affordability indicators. Career / retirement history fixes. International recruit fixes. Schedule + MTE fixes. UI polish. And more. Everything in this update is completely free. No God Mode purchase needed. 3.1 got submitted before I was even home from school, so 3.2 had way more time for polish and bug fixes, and the update after this will probably be way more bug-focused since the game has a ton of features now and making everything as polished and stable as possible is the priority. Most of these features will also be toggleable, so if you want the more classic Hardwood Empire experience you're more than welcome to play that way too. Seriously appreciate all the support, this community has grown way faster than I ever expected. Submitting to iOS + Android as soon as this post hits 500 likes ❤️

Elden Ring: Nightreign | Gameplay Overview Releasing exactly two weeks from today. ▫️ The overall structure of the map will not change from run to run - this includes Sites of Grace, cave entrances, and major geographical features. ▫️ Points of interest, rewards, bosses, and mini-bosses will be randomized each run however. ▫️ World Events can take place at the start of your run. This will affect the map or your next run in some way. ▫️ One example is 'Shifting Earth: Crater' which transforms the northern part of the map into a giant volcano pit. ▫️ Enemies in these areas are more challenging but you should always try to explore them. ▫️ IGN: "Exploring the crater took us pretty much the entire second day, but when we did eventually make it all the way to the bottom, we beat a boss that granted us an Epic rarity reward by itself [...] but then also the Unique reward of upgrading any weapon in your arsenal to Max Level for free." ▫️ If you don't want to play with the assigned World Event, you can reset it by sleeping at the Roundtable Hold. ▫️ Random Events can also occur during your run occasionally - similar to the Margit invasion in the Network Test. ▫️ More random events - A giant tornado can appear on the map. Upon reaching it, you're invaded by a group of challenging NPCs. A mysterious boss can also appear that attacks from miles away, with each hit lowering your level. ▫️ Eight Nightfarers/classes at launch. Each one has unique weapons, abilities, and Ultimate Arts. ▫️ Up to 3-player co-op with matchmaking. If a teammate goes down, simply attack their body to get them up. Nightfarers with ranged weapons are particularly useful for this. ▫️ Sadly there will be no crossplay or cross-progression. ▫️ Releasing May 30th on PS5, Xbox, PC, and last gen for $40. #ELDENRING #ELDENRINGNIGHTREIN

Starfield is getting a massive new overhaul update on April 7th, alongside a PS5 release and a new expansion "Terran Armada" - FREE LANES: A massive new update, with its main feature being that you can now travel between planets in space with no loading screens - Going into hyper drive no longer takes you into a loading screen, instead you can get up and explore your ship, talking to crew members while you travel - There are new POIs on planet surfaces so exploration is no longer as repetitive as before on the randomly generated planets - There are a new set of encounters that interrupt your space flight, making the act of travel actually interesting now - TERRAN ARMADA EXPANSION: A new faction that you have to face, mainly robots and there is a new companion which is also a robot named Delta. The new weapons are more like modern guns rather than futuristic stuff - Terran Armada incursions: These seem to be new radiant quests to take on enemy outposts - X-Tech is a new material that allows you to upgrade your weapons further, with a ton of new weapon perks alongside it - There are new skins for weapons as well - New player home: A mansion carved out of an asteroid, seems to be the most expensive house in the game - New ship modules that enhance the ship, including a stealth drive that makes your ship invisible. - New ship optimization module that optimizes specific ship systems, as well as a ton of new ship upgrades - New modules for the home building system that are already furnished, such as cabins that you can also further customize - A shared container that acts as one storage box between all your different settlements - New action figure collectibles that give you passive bonuses, pretty much the same as the vault boy collectibles from Fallout - You can now get pets in your settlements and there's a new little robot companion, Muria is also now a companion. - New Game+ now allows you to keep your items on a replay when you finish the main story through crafting a new container with quantam essence and allows you to put any item you wanna keep in it - You can now upgrade all Starborn powers through new levels using the new Quantam Essence item, which can be gained by taking out Starborn enemies - New location: Anchor Point star station, where you'll find many new quests - New vehicle "Moon jumper", it can boost upwards and basically fly - Enemies have new traits and they are "smarter" now, more challenging. Starfield is coming to PS5 + Terran Armada and the update all on April 7th for all platforms.

I finished the DLC for Ninja Gaiden 4: The Two Masters. Here’s a quick little analysis. I liked it quite a lot. It lasts around 3 hours (I played it on Hard). It has small references to the previous games, and that’s definitely appreciated. You can tell they refined the combat system even more and made the game harder, because the three chapters really kicked my ass is a not stop action combat. Maybe I’m just rusty, but enemies respond much better during combat now. One good thing is that when you lose, you can now skip the death dialogue. If you run out of health and press the button, it immediately restarts, which makes everything feel smoother (that was one of the things I had been asking for). However, things like being able to save the game at UMI or the HDR issues were not added or fixed, which is a shame. I liked the new stages — especially the “hell” one. It feels like a sea without water. You can tell this game was designed to be played at night, because in daytime stages the characters look kind of weird. Maybe it’s just something you have to get used to. Yakumo’s new weapon is incredible. Ryu’s new weapon, on the other hand, I didn’t fully understand. It’s simple, but it feels like it’s missing hits — I noticed it felt kind of empty. It’s more of a “connector” weapon than anything else. It’s great that they added the option to customize which weapons you want to use, or even equip them all together. The new enemies definitely add challenge (there are 4 new enemies or bosses), and I liked the final boss — I’m not sure if more than the others in the base game, but I really enjoyed it. To sum it up, I liked the DLC. However, I feel like they’re going to release a BLACK version, because it’s missing unlockable content, costumes, and characters like Ayane. That honestly makes me sad. A game with such a fun combat system really needed that extra content. If this DLC had been included in the base game, it would have been incredible. Later I’ll talk about the new 100-level mode (it has 3 accessories to unlock — they’re probably for the new weapon). But overall, it’s a good, very playable DLC, just lacking in content. Great job by PlatinumGames and Team Ninja — but please learn to listen a bit more to the fans who have been supporting you for years. Adding more costumes or another playable character is enough to make us happy. 🥷 🥰 Team NINJA PlatinumGames Inc. Super Ninja™

AgenC marketplace update is live. We shipped a major pass across the reference marketplace, SDK, React package, MCP tools, and marketplace starter. What changed: • httpx://agenc.ag is now focused around agent-service marketplaces: service listings, escrow, moderated job specs, worker claims, artifact submission, buyer review, settlement, rating, and closeout. • Provider storefront discovery is cleaner. Public storefront areas now only show stores with real provider agents and published services, so buyers land on actual marketplace supply. • The buyer hire flow is smoother. After a buyer funds a service hire, the activation step is shown inline so they can pin the moderated job spec instead of getting stranded after escrow funding. • Worker task feeds are safer and clearer. Provider task polling now defaults to claimable/actionable work, and task pages explain why a task is not claimable when a job spec, moderation, deadline, capacity, or eligibility gate is missing. • Store management is stronger. Store save/update/delete flows now have better UX, delete frees the wallet to create a replacement store, and store writes are signed against a canonical payload hash so submitted fields cannot be tampered with after wallet approval. • Settlement UX got more complete. Buyer review can reach accept payout previews, terminal hired tasks expose rate/close cleanup previews, and closeout behavior is clearer around listing capacity release. • The public API boundary is now explicit. Public reads stay public. Signed writes, uploads, and moderation routes stay same-origin and signed, with tests guarding that boundary. • Moderation and safety controls were tightened. Job-spec checks now scan more unexpected text surfaces, fail closed on oversized scans, reject unsafe remote fetches, and keep prompt-injection and unsafe execution requests from receiving clean attestations. • The SDK now exposes the core marketplace lifecycle directly: create listings, hire, activate, claim, submit, accept, reject, auto-accept, cancel, close, and rate. • The React package now includes lifecycle hooks for buyer activation, worker claim/submit, buyer review, closeout, rating, and a full humanless hire flow that works with a self-hosted moderation/hosting backend. • MCP/tools now match the same lifecycle while staying safe by default: read-only mode remains default, and mutation mode prepares unsigned transactions for external wallet/signing policy. • The marketplace starter is now much closer to a real builder template. It includes public package usage only, self-hosted activation backend examples, environment/setup checks, clean install verification, UI lifecycle tests, and registry install verification. • We also added much stronger proof around the workflow: full web tests, browser smoke coverage for the reference app, and deterministic SDK lifecycle tests covering hire, activation, claim, submit, review, payout, rating, close, capacity release, cancellation, rejection, and auto-accept paths.

** Mega Parodius Update ** Since last showing : Added HUD power up line. Added animating water layer. Added HUD Score / Hi Score & Lives top HUD. Added Missiles - the way they run on the ground and follow hills is pretty cool I think . Added Double shot . Added 2 Lazer segments per Ship / Option as per Arcade , also variable width lazers ( this was a major pain to get working ) - now they can be up to 256 pixel wide. The longer attack is pressed the longer the lazer segment. Still need to add Lazer collision detection with forground, Lazer coding is the gift that keeps giving it seems ! Stage 1 music is on its 3rd revision from Vector Orbitex , the Orchestral beat was added via the PSG chip since the last update . Its really a treat for the ears working with Vector !! Pyron has been feeding me lots of samples for the voices / SFX , also retouching a tonne of GFX from the arcade and early start on Level 2 artwork, which is looking superb ( as usual from Pyron ) even at this early stage. Speedup Horizontal Interupt Sorting routines by converting from C to Assembly for a 40-50 % speedup . Took 3 days but was worth it . Good thing is this will be backported to S.O.TA also. Using nested macros in Assembly for the lazer segments ( there are 10 of them ) I've been able to clean up the Lazer handling code and with the sorting routine speedup its helped as its now handling twice as many lazers segments. Using forground for game objects like we do here for the lazers is much more painfull that it should be due to the forground plane wrapping around. So every lazer segment has to check for plane wrapping boundaries etc. Worst case 10 lazers get split into 20 smaller segments to handle the plane wrapping . Benefit ofcourse is the massive coverage we have with no sprite overloading , I estimate its saving up to 40 sprites to use the FG for Lazers !! Hopefully get some enemies in the next update !! #SGDK #Parodius #SegaMegadrive #SegaGenesis

Death Stranding 2 | Hands-On Details ▪️Press got to play a whopping 30 hours of the game, that is around 40% of the story says Kojima ▪️"Tighter, pacier, more dynamic, more gripping" than the first game ▪️4 difficulty settings: Story, Casual, Normal, and Brutal ▪️Played on base PS5, "impressive photorealistic graphics" that draw you in right away, "hugely increased" level of detail ▪️"Fantastically surreal" bossfights ▪️Takes place 11 months after the first game with Sam living with his daughter Lou in a remote area in Mexico ▪️After connecting America to the chiral network, deliveries are now automated by AI ▪️His peaceful life is disrupted by the return of Fragile, now running the company Drawbridge, who sends Sam on a mission to connect Mexico to the network and then to Australia ▪️Pacing is improved over the first game, swiftly gets players into gameplay ▪️Corpus: In-game glossary similar to Final Fantasy 16 that can be opened at any time, including mid-cutscene, to recap and explain plot points, characters, places etc ▪️Expanding gameplay systems was a major focus, world feels more dynamic and diverse with more opportunities for player expression ▪️Still focused on taking cross-country delivery jobs through hostile landscapes, but much more evolved like going from MGS1 to MGS2 ▪️More streamlined menus, clear info on your objective, equipment, routes, less frustration in traversal ▪️Combat now plays a greater role, Kojima added more options because so many people all over the world were asking him to make another Metal Gear ▪️Sam now has to also contend with extreme weather conditions. Sandstorms can topple you over, intense rain leads to floods, earthquakes shake the ground, avalanches can come crashing down ▪️Tons of environmental diversity, barren mountains, white sandy deserts, lush jungles, cities, etc makes the first feel static by comparison ▪️Time of day (sunlight, nighttime) can impact the temperature of your precious cargo ▪️Asynchronous online connectivity expanded with more structures like ziplines that now curve, safe houses for checkpoints, ramps that can shoot Sam across the air like Sonic ▪️You can level up your abilities through use, like stamina, proficiency with weapons, skill tree buffs like better stealth that gives improved noise cancellation and enemy alerts. Likewise more time in combat unlocks better ammo, scanner range, etc ▪️You can customize your backpack with lots of attachments like extra ammo pouches, shields, and more ▪️You can also customize vehicles like adding an arm to a truck that will automatically grab lost packages, machine guns to auto shoot enemies ▪️Lots of new options to encourage experimenting your approach, like finding extra tools like powerful gloves that let you punch mechs in the face or an otter hat to float in water ▪️"Significant" number of side quests with meaningful rewards: special weapon schematics, narrative payoffs, skill points to unlock footstep dampeners, aim assistance, vehicle recharger, etc ▪️Combat is vastly expanded and improved, in many ways "feels like Metal Gear Solid 6" ▪️Mexico and Australia are filled with enemy bases to infiltrate, ripe for silent takedowns or gunfights that feel "punchy" ▪️There are new human enemy forces such as bandits and armed survivalists ▪️You can wear different camo types to blend in and throw out small puppet "Dollman" into the air to scout out enemies ▪️You can now put down Sam's backpack to allow for more agile movement ▪️Lots of weapon options from pistols to assault rifles, shotguns, sniper rifles, grenade launchers, 'blood boomerang', the rope-firing Bola Gun, and more ▪️Battles against BTs are much more engaging, with new enemy types that can also physically see Sam, not just sense him ▪️You can unlock a music player in the game that lets you play a playlist of tracks you collect at your choosing Full IGN Video ▶️ VGC ➡️ Eurogamer ➡️ #DeathStranding2 #PS5

*** SOTA RETROCON S.O.T.A UPDATE *** Whilst the Versao LTDA team is busy at Retrocon showing off our latest Sega Genesis SOTA update, here is a small snippet of how the game is progressing. This video has 3 parts, our menu screen, rain - wind sub section of level 1, then the boss. Everything is still wip including my gameplay skill lol ( and i thought the controller would help .. ) Some challenges overcome : The Menu screen uses shadow and highlight transparency modes in two ways, the background mode for the light rays and then the sprite mode for the mist - it has a nice overlapping effect too, due to using the forground plane for the light rays (s & h background mode) the entire forground is made up of sprites - all the words are sprites . SaviorMarks sent me a screenshot of an issue with boss leftover Mist sprites affecting the menu screen and I thought that looks really cool - lets do that haha . Sometimes bugs are keepers !! The rain section uses more than 80 sprites, a sprite multiplexor handles the rain whilst normal non plexed sprites make up the moon / clouds in the far background , the lamp posts and lamp light in the mid forground and Fences in the front forground . Without the multiplexor there was too much drop out on the rain at times. The rain is still blinked in alternating X positions due to the pixels per line limit , but it gives a great result still. The lamp lights use Shaded Active Dither as S&H here would not overlap the enemies / player . The Boss was a challenge with its size and full frame updates, up to 650 tiles are changed per animation frame into vram. Custom Dual priority DMA routines and extended DMA timings are used (still NTSC 224 pixels tall screen size but most of the vblank was used for updating tiles ) . These methods were used to update the bosses dual display buffers. I needed to have dual priority DMA buffers as the player / waterfall etc had to update their frames whilst the boss is constantly streaming tiles. There are also S&H transparent Mist sprites used for the boss sequence. It seems if you want everything to break at once target a demo for a retrocon event haha, we had lots of issues mainly with vram getting stomped and as all animating sprites need to be DMA streamed to fit into VRAM as the forgrounds and backgrounds take up a lot of tiles. Some new tools which show the VRAM allocation for the sprite engine on a frame by frame basis helped and a self defragging VRAM system helped quite a bit also. Thankfully things are in a good state now apart from a couple of small bugs that persist. Thanks to SaviorMarks and @MichelinFabio for putting up with and testing all the bugged updates haha !! #SegaGenesis #SGDK @MichelinFabio SaviorMarks #VersaoLTDA

Hey folks, I've been recently talking a lot about why we're adding different styles of play into No Rest for the Wicked and I wanted to prove my theory that that would result in players having more fun, so, long story short... I turned Quake 1 into a Roguelite! 😂 Here's what that means: 1) Roguelite-inspired Run Structure: You start with limited stats in a hub map and are greeted by actual NPCs, then fight through sequential arena rooms across 4 biomes, each ending with a boss fight. 2) 40+ boons across 5 categories: Damage, Movement, Defense, Utility and Risk. And these also come with Rarities: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. After clearing a room, you pick from 3 random boon offerings. 3) Permanent Meta: Death sends you back to the hub with you retaining the 'essence' currency you collected by killing mobs. Then you spend it at NPCs: The Gatekeeper starts runs, the Wraith upgrades your arsenal (ammo capacity, starting weapons, weapon damage), and The Shaper sells permanent stat upgrades (max HP, armor, boon capacity, rerolls) 4) Difficulty Scaling: Enemy health and damage ramp up as you push deeper. 5) Damage Numbers: Floating combat text and floating healthbars for good measure, so you can understand how much stronger you become over time. All just built on top of unmodified Quake 1 maps and enemies - no new assets needed, it reuses the entire original campaign as roguelike content. To me, this is point proven: I think even hardcore Quake lovers back in the day would've spent a whole bunch of time playing a mode like this given that it'd allow you to experience the thing you love in a whole new light by crossing genres. If you're interested in seeing how this exercise turned out, here's a video for your viewing pleasure! :) I have to wonder what John Romero 🤘🏽 thinks about this given that he originally wanted to add more RPG elements into Quake!

Look ma new Codex Updates! 0.119.0 and 0.120.0 are here. And with it, a HUGE number of quality of life updates and bug fixes! > Hooks now render in a dedicated live area above the composer. They only persist when they have output, so your terminal stays clean. If you're running PreToolUse or PostToolUse hooks, this is a huge readability win. > Hooks are now available again on Windows > CTRL+O copies the last agent output. Small but clutch when you're pulling a code block into another file or chat. > New statusline option: context usage as a graphical bar instead of a percentage. Easier to glance at mid-session when you're trying to gauge how much runway you have left. > Zellij support is here with no scrollback bugs. If you've been stuck on tmux just because Codex was broken in Zellij, you're free now (shout out Felipe Coury 🦀) > Memory extensions just landed. The consolidation agent can now discover plugin folders under memories_extensions/ and read their instructions.md to learn how to interpret new memory sources. Drop a folder in, give it guidance, and the agent picks it up automatically during summarization. No core code changes needed. This is the first real extension point for Codex's memory system, and it opens the door for third-party memory plugins. > Did you know, you can /rename a thread? But what's really cool about that is, after you rename it, you can resume it with the same name, no more UUIDs. codex resume mynewapp or directly from the TUI: /resume mynewapp > Multi agents v2 got an update to tool descriptions More reliable multi agent environments and inter agent communication > You can now enable TUI notifications whether Codex is in focus or not. Modify this in your config: [tui] notification_condition = "always" > MAJOR overhaul to Codex MCP functionality: 1. Codex Tool Search now works with custom MCP servers, so tools can be searched and deferred instead of all being exposed up front. 2. Custom MCP servers can now trigger elicitations, meaning they can stop and ask for user approval or input mid-flow. 3. MCP tool results now preserve richer metadata, which improves app/UI handoff behavior. 4. Codex can now read MCP resources directly, letting apps return resource URIs that the client can actually open. 5. File params for Codex Apps are smoother: local file paths can be uploaded and remapped automatically. 6. Plugin cache refresh and fallback sync behavior are more reliable, especially for custom and curated plugins. > Composer and chat behavior smoother overall, resize bugs remain though. > Realtime v2 got several significant improvements as well. > You're still reading? What a legend. 🫶 npm i -g @openai/codex to update
