Here is Jaxson Dart, earlier this season, spearing a LB in the head on the sideline. That is a cheap shot, not hitting a QB that is still in bounds. It's pretty simple: if you don't want to get hit, then go out of bounds. If you want the benefit of the doubt a step from the sideline, then don't headhunt a LB that is giving you a path out of bounds.

Step-Back Scoop Toss: Great for teaching athletes how to load and explode out of the back hip. 3. To accomplish this step lateral and dip your shoulder to reduce the surface area your opponent can use to seal you from your gap. Step 2: Read the adjacent blocker Transfer your eyes from the primary blocker to the adjacent blocker so you can react appropriately to his block. On this play, since the adjacent blocker pulls the proper reaction is to get vertical. Step 3: 2nd Step Vertical In order to disrupt the pin and pull you need to get vertical. This will put you in the path of the RB and in prime position for a TFL.

1) If you're Tyreek having a fit on the sideline, you can't be running around like this appearing to have no clue where he's supposed to line up (this isn't the only time in the game this seemed to happen - and it's carry over from previous seasons). 2) As an OL coach, I harp on footwork - a lot. This looks like a 3/4 slide protection right. Paul would initially have the DE 1v1, but when the LB walks up, appears this protection calls for him to have MDM (most dangerous man) - and that Conner would get the DE. Watch Conner's footwork. Right foot up. Then trying to step up with the left on the 1st step and back with the right on the second step - never going to get there.

On my way to Brussels. Today is a big day: the Secretary General of NATO, Mark Rutte, is coming to the European Parliament for a hearing in the Committee on Foreign Affairs. I am a full member of that committee. I am trying to get speaking time, and if I do, I will call on Mr. Rutte to organize a coalition of the willing from NATO countries to execute an operation in Iran that would target the leadership of the regime. The time for appeasement policies has to end: Europe must stop the slaughterhouse.
