Sorry to say and whilst he had a solid game, I just don’t rate Mings tbh. I feel like we’ve out grown him as a player & a lot of fans are sympathetic towards him and want him at the club because of the past. Truth be told, we’re better without him in the starting 11 imo

I’ve seen a few media outlets talking down Aston Villa achievements under Unai Emery. Last Season Newcastle & Man Utd finished dead last in their respective CL groups, out of Europe before Christmas.

Aston Villa last season, got further in their respective European competition, Europa League semi final, than any other English team & still qualified for the CL by finishing 4th.

Newcastle have had the advantage of no additional European games, yet Aston Villa are only 2 points behind them in the league & on course for a last eight berth in the champions league. UTV 💜💙
