The GOAT of refs!

So goated, the only referee to ever grace the cover of a football video game.

The best referee I've ever known, controlled games whilst letting them flow. Had everyone's absolute respect

That football era when even the referees were a rare and exceptional breed in their own right, Glorious days to watch the sport.

Also famous for his part as a mutant biker in the 1985 film 'Weird Science' 👨🦲🤪🤣

The only ref ever to appear on the cover of a football game...

Before VAR invented, there's Collina's eyes. 👀

I would always get an urge to listen to this song every time I would see him ref a game.

The game needs this type personality NOT var!

I was working in Portugal and staying at the referees hotel in 2004. Met him in the lift and apart from being the best referee the game has seen he was also a very charming and polite man.

The world needs more of this people.

100 procent GOAT, he had some crazy aura

Greatest ref ever to grace football

Corrupt cheat and a stain on the game

Corrupt twat

The best ever football referee…..Italian do it better 🇮🇹

They don't make them like him anymore. Class ref

back when the sport wasn’t soft, the good o days

He would never allow VAR to interfere with his decisions 😂😂😂

@fredgs05

Whenever you saw him you knew it’s was going to be a fair game.

El mejor referente arbitral en la historia del fútbol

He was the boss definitely

This man was 🔥🔥🔥

Bent as fuck

The best ever! Liked that ref

el millor de tots

There will never be a referee that commanded respect more than Collina. Brilliant.

Good luck arguing with this Ref and getting off Scott Free

The man was a different level from any of the generation of refs we have today

I remember when he once reffed a game at Celtic park against Celta Vigo during the run to the UFEA cup final, it was great to see for once a ref putting a stop to Celta's diving shenanigans early doors with a couple of yellow cards, i've not seen a ref do the same since

He earned the players respect by being a fair really good ref and taking no shit off the players Something the current crop of refs should aspire too

🚬
