In KZN it rains for 10mim and half the streets are like this , the transport MEC will gift Chiefs and traditional leaders cows every month 😭😭😭 instead of clearing out the draining system which has debris from 2021👀

The biggest problem in KZN and Province run by ANC, they don't have town engineers. You can hire inexperienced because it's black and qualified. KZN shoukd fire all town engineers start the process of hiring afresh. These are consequences of 30 yrs none maintain drainage pipes

I've never seen a city with a poor drainage system like Pietermaritzburg. The town whole town has slope platform, but their storm water drainage is non functional. The town planner and engineer did a terrible job here

I hope it doesn't get worse. Send some of that rain to Northam Limpopo. Our cattle are starving. Everything still dry and brown no decent grass

Why not build massive dams in KZN to collect and store floodwater? This could be a game-changer for South Africa, providing a sustainable water source and mitigating flood damage
