Watching Fire Walk With Me, and then the Twin Peaks pilot again is such a shock. I got so used to the moody and serious Coop from FWWM, I forget how cheery he is at the start of the original run of Twin Peaks.

on my second rewatch of the Return, you really see the dramatic change in Cooper in the last couple of episodes after he creates the Dougie tulpa. Like all of his joyfulness was put into that tulpa leaving only his base aggressiveness.
