Why does the finale feel rushed?

Oh how I missed Emily! 😭

In the end, she didn't deserve him. She used him to clean up her messes and help her friends, while risking his own life for her. He risked his life for her husband. Nick had a daughter too and deserved a chance to be with her. He was caught with those letters and it was just another time he had to save her and clean up her mess. Those women would've been killed regardless. He did what he had to, to save her and she abandoned him. So, he abandoned himself. Can we really blame him for that when he lost the woman he loved and his daughter? June is selfish. I said what I said
