Why doesn't the BBC cover my policy announcements like this? My plan to tax Brits living in Dubai at an 95% rate got no coverage

Before you start singling out people with mental-health conditions for reassessment, Robert, you might want to read RF v Secretary of State for Work and Pensions [2017] EWHC 3375 (Admin). The Government already tried changing PIP rules so people whose mobility problems arose from psychological distress were treated less favourably than people with other impairments. The High Court quashed the regulations. The distinction was found to be unlawfully discriminatory, including contrary to Article 14 ECHR. (House of Commons Library) And the Equality Act 2010 still requires public authorities to have due regard to eliminating discrimination against disabled people. Section 149 did not magically disappear because Reform renamed the policy. ( Current PIP deliberately assesses the functional impact of disability, including mental-health impairment, rather than deciding that one diagnosis is inherently more deserving than another. ( So by all means publish your new criteria. But if “reforming PIP” means disadvantaging people because their disability is psychological rather than physical, you are walking directly back into a legal argument the Government has already lost in the High Court. Changing the name of the benefit does not change the law.

There are five million reasons why this is nothing more than a distraction tactic by Reform UK.

Platforming #ReformUK Ltd. again! When do we get to see you showing some policies from the #GreenParty or #LibDems? No, it’s all #Reform Reform Reform with you!

Robert Jenrick's previous mob created PIP using the same lies and myths. It has a 0% fraud rate (0.3%). Could someone at the BBC remind Tice and Jenrick that PIP isn't an "out of work" benefit anyway??

Why is the BBC even giving airtime to this nonsense from a party with only 8 MP's? My viewing licence is being misused to give free propaganda to Reform UK! @Ofcom @lisanandy @bphillipsonMP @newswatchbbc

That’s fair, PIP as well as all other benefits need significant reform because we’re just paying way too much in benefits.

Farage, Tice, Jenrick +’Pochin are all under investigation for tax evasion and/or money laundering. Farage waited a day after by-election to tell impoverished Clacton, I’ll make you poorer. Reform to remove £50bn of benefits. They hate the poor they made poor #Brexit

Ffs bbc why are you giving these handful of reform populists priority, sick of the sight of them

Reformed by slashing £50bn. Pull the other one, Honest Bob and Dubai Dicky.

@BBCNews No mention that both these clowns are under investigation?

Why do you repeatedly drop everything for a reform "press conference"? You dont do the same for the other parties. You are not the propaganda wing of Reform. @Ofcom

Shame on you @BBC.

Deport all postwar net negatives

Can you stop reporting this as if they’re within reach of office? Five barely-there MPs, mostly Tories who jumped ship and are tipped to lose their seats at the next election, and you’re covering it like it’s in the next King’s Speech…

BBC Politics is now the propaganda arm of Reform Ltd Would you give as much live airtime and online coverage to a policy launch by the LibDems, who have near to ten times as many MPs? Do explain….

@BBCNews

The vast level or corruption within Reform. And they want YOU to look over there at disabled people. Wake-up.

They’ve got the news cycle which is what they wanted to distract from their dodgy financial dealings.

Hold on a sec.. didn't Jenrick clearly state yesterday that PIP was going to be scrapped? And this moronic set of completely inept clutterfucks think they're up to running our nation.. pull the other one .. they're having a fucking laugh..

Why is this getting airtime @BBCPolitics ? Who is the editor making these calls? Why not LibDems with far more numbers of MPs? Or actual Govt ? Reform Ltd Company, has just 8 😂😂

They have 8mps @BBCNews why do you give them the platform to attack the most vulnerable and sick in society! They are attacking veterans who depend on PIP to live!

Clacton electorate will be really chuffed 🤣🤣🤣

Why is the BBC giving such prominent coverage to a party that only has 8 MPs?

A small U-Turn from yesterday, PIP was to be totally abolished I guess they've learnt that they needed to maybe rephrase a few things to try and gather some voteshare back? Reform UK have just signed their own death sentence with this policy.

Another party political broadcast broadcast on behalf of Reform, I see.

How are they gonna do that when their leader and deputy leader could bring the party down, with the multiple investigations they’re under? Why are you constantly giving these alleged criminals an unmitigated platform?

Why were you at this Presser for Reform? Have you forgotten who the opposition is?

Aye. Right! Loopier than ever.

What is the BBC's obsession with reform? The real story here is, they aren't going to do anything, because they aren't in power, and probably never will be. Smoke and mirrors, once again.

It's called siphoning that money to their rich donors, forcing people with disabilities into abject poverty and possible homelessness, closing down supported living homes, forcing vulnerable adults with learning and physical disabilities in to long-term hospitals.

They are going to do no such thing, as they are not getting in. They are a storm in a tea cup, whipping up those who still believe their Brexit lies.Jenrick was in gov when they gave away £10 billion in fraud loans to their pals in the pandemic- you think he cares about you?😂😂
