After 12+ years of pro baseball I am officially retired! From living out my dream in the MLB, to Japan, Korea, Mexico and everywhere in between - it has been an incredible ride. I gave baseball everything I had, and it gave me even more. I could go on and on, but really I'm just grateful. For the life lessons, relationships, memories and much more. When I say my therapist was a Zionist when I went to her back in 2019 I mean she literally brought up that I was Lebanese unprompted and confronted me on it saying she was Israeli. She asked if I had a problem with that, if I felt like Israel had the right to exist, started asking more and more if I was frustrated with Islam and have considered taking off my hijab. I asked her if she was alright with me being Lebanese and she got really aggressive, accusing me of flipping it on her and refused to answer.
