The way I need this in my life. I've owned a Pixel ever since the very first iteration and I will never buy anything else. Loving my 5a currently.

Does it also have a volume rocker that will randomly fall off? I have to go at a repair shop for my Pixel 7 Pro so they can replace it with the same part and odds are, it will fail again.

💬: is your eye color genetic? 👑: well my mother's eyes are very light, too. i guess, i take after my mom’s eyes. actually, my mom told me about these light eyes—i don’t know if it’s true or not, but she said having light eyes isn't always a good thing. it’s something i heard when i was a kid. i don't mean to boast, but people told me my eyes were pretty when i was a kid. my mom's eyes are also light, so she’d tell me, “your eyes are just like mine”. she also said having light eyes isn't always a good thing. when i asked why, she told me it’s because when it’s sunny— it's harder for light eyes to deal with the glare. so she said that when the sun is beaming down, it’s probably hard to keep your eyes open 💬: your noona? 👑: my noona doesn’t have light eyes 👑: no wonder i’m always squinting in the summer when the sun is super bright. meanwhile my friends could keep their eyes wide open like this. so i was like, “is it just me who's blinded by the sun?”. i guess it might just be me. 💬: omg i pretty much walk around with my eyes squinting too 👑: right. for people who struggle to open their eyes in the sun, it must be really tough 👑: for example if we’re shooting an album cover or some important photos outdoors in the sun—for someone like me who can barely open their eyes in the light, the photographers will be like—i just stand there with my eyes closed, and the photographer will be like, “okay, one, two, three”, and i open my eyes, hold it for like two seconds, and then close them again. and then, when they go “one, two, three” again, i open my eyes, try so hard to hold it like *eunngggh* and then close them right back up. that’s how i do my photoshoots 💬: is studio lights/lighting okay? 👑: i’ve gotten used to studio lights/lighting now. i’m totally fine with studio lights/lighting. but i just can't get used to the sun! seriously sunlight is really hard

James Currier on how he grew a photo sharing site to 47 million users in 6 months “Most product people start by saying, ‘There’s a problem and we’re going to build a product that’s going to solve that problem. Then we’re going to market it,” NFX founder James Currier observes. Of the 45 companies James has spoken to in the last 18 months, at least 40 of them have said some version of this. “I was also taught this back in the 1990s,” James says. “But through experimentation, I’ve realized that this is actually the wrong way to look at it. The right way to look at it — if you want to grow your business — is to ask, ‘What is the language? How am I going to market this?’ . . . Figure out what the language is and then build the product to fit what the language is.” James gives the example of a photo sharing site he launched years ago: “It said ‘Store your Photos’ on the homepage, and we were not growing. So one day, we literally just changed the homepage to say ‘Share your Photos.’ The team that was working on it said, ‘Our site doesn’t actually share photos. It just stores the photos.’ I said, ‘Well, fix that.’ What ended up happening was they started building features that allowed people to share their photos, and we registered 47 million people in 6 months. And that was back when the Internet was 250 million people.” He continues: “What we realized was that by changing the language, you change how the users are interacting with your site. And you also change your thinking about the product so that the features and subsequent language in the product actually fits with the main value proposition.” James gives another example: “We had a matchmaking site, and the promise there was ‘Find a date.’ It wasn’t growing and we had to buy all this traffic from Google and elsewhere to keep the whole thing going. So what we did was we changed the language and the value proposition to say, ‘Help people find a date.’ When we did that, we registered 28 million people in about 9 months, virally with no cost to us. We changed the language, and then we changed the product subsequently.” Video source: Greylock Partners (2016)

2 out of 3 adults suffer from broken sleep. It silently wrecks your testosterone, ages your brain faster, & weakens your immune system. Use these 7 tips to fall asleep faster & for longer:🧵 1. Stop waking up very early Your body doesn’t care about 5 AM — it cares about consistency. Set a fixed sleep & wake time (yes, even on weekends). That rhythm trains your brain to fall asleep faster & wake up with real energy. 2. Get morning sunlight within 30 minutes of waking Your eyes need natural light to reset your body’s internal clock. Just 10 minutes of sunlight tells your brain it’s daytime, boosting: • Mood • Energy • Alertness Now, your body knows by when to "get tired". 3. Optimize bedroom temperature Your body needs to cool down by about 1°C (2°F) to fall asleep. The optimal temperature? Keep your room between 60–67°F (15–19°C) — it’s the sweet spot for deep sleep. 4. Take magnesium 50–70% of adults are magnesium deficient. Magnesium glycinate (200–400 mg): • Helps your body drift into deep sleep • Calms your nervous system • Lowers cortisol Take it 30-60 minutes before bed. This blend contains Magnesium Glycinate, L-Theanine, & 7 other sleep nutrients. Find it here (AMAZON PRODUCT LINK): 5. No caffeine after 2PM Adenosine is the chemical building up in your brain to make you feel sleepy. Well, caffeine blocks it. Even an afternoon coffee can reduce deep sleep by 20–30%... 6. No blue-light 60 minutes before bed Your brain thinks blue light = daytime. Screens, LEDs, & bright overhead lights block melatonin & delay deep sleep: 7. Last meal 2 hours before bed Late-night eating spikes blood sugar & body temperature. Give your digestive system time to rest so your body can focus on recovery, not digestion: *Every body works differently, this is not medical advice, just what worked on me." *Always consult a health expert before following any protocols." *Affiliate links included.* How many hours do you sleep at night? If not enough, will you try any of these tips? Let me know in the comments. I'm 21 & obsessed with health. If you liked this tweet: 1. Follow Achilleas for more 2.
