Pixels, pixels, lovely pixels 🥰🎶 Battle Chess (1988), PC

This was pretty much impossible to play on Amiga 500. After every move there was an immensive disk activity.

That was a great GAME!!!

Even without knowing how to play chess, these sound effects and animations were all that was needed to be entertained for hours back in the day.

I can still hear the 8 bit speaker joy of this game

Oh yes, played that one, too. The computer-controlled opponent did make stupid moves sometimes, but the animations made it all worth it 😄
