In my generation, first we'd spend a very long day hunting or fishing, then we'd go to a bar & grill, typically someplace called "Charlie's" or similar. Blood, fur, or fish scales still clinging to places. Parched, worn out from exertion & sun. Sit on a bar stool, order a pitcher and cheeseburgers. Pour the first beer in a frosted glass, light up a Marlboro Red for the first time in hours. There is some kind of chemical magic that happens when you do that. Nirvana or Shangri-La or something along those lines comes into focus. Not an everyday sensation, to say the least. Top three on the list of best combos. (Disclaimer: I can't recommend that combo anymore for obvious reasons)
