Plan for long-term expenses wisely. Avoid using your retirement savings for ongoing costs like mortgage payments or school fees. Retirement savings are meant to support you throughout retirement. Protect your future by keeping your savings intact and budgeting for big expenses from your regular income or other dedicated funds. #NSSFRegionalMeetings

But how comes that some of you doesn't want to retire from office even after reaching retirement age? Does it mean that some of these things like planning for retirement are very impossible for you people to implement? Anyway in Africa, retirement is by force NOT Voluntary

By the way you need to rethink your ways. For example if tou have someone that has a family house mortgaged and he looses a job. He has not been working for say 3 years and the bank is taking the house. His kids are out of school, which retirement is he waiting for?🤣🤣. Uganda!

Hello @A_Dunkanz, We truly understand the pain in such a situation, and it’s heartbreaking. Life can be very unfair and no one plans to lose a job or a home. However, we also operate under the law, which guides when and how benefits can be paid and sometimes mixing this with a member's personal financial choices and decisions they took becomes a difficult session/topic. We wish you well.
