We need mass movements to end ALL military aid to Israel, and we need leaders who will unambiguously fight for this demand. I am an independent revolutionary socialist running for Congress. I have two Democratic Party opponents in this race. One is 29-year incumbent Democrat Adam Smith, who has sent tens of billions of dollars for the genocide in Gaza. Smith is currently pushing for over a TRILLION NEW dollars for Trump’s wars. His new bill would ALSO merge the U.S. and Israeli militaries. The second Democrat in this race, Melissa Chaudhry, does not call for an end to military aid to Israel. The words Israel, Gaza, Palestine, and occupation DO NOT EVEN APPEAR on her website. She recently said to a Democratic Party audience that she will be a “team player.” This is how the Democratic Party operates: they give a choice between an openly-pro imperialist candidate, and a candidate who is running an establishment-friendly campaign and telling us she will be a “team player” with the rest of the Democratic Party. The answer, it turns out, was pretty simple. And as a result, to date, almost twelve thousand teenagers, aged 12 to 17, have been treated, I hate even using that word, with puberty blockers or pro trans counseling by planned parenthood. More often than not, with zero history of gender dysphoria and no actual medical diagnostic process. Stories of detransitioners like Helena Kirschner are starting to expose just how bad Planned Parenthood's counseling actually is. This beautiful young woman walked into a Planned Parenthood clinic, and in less than an hour, she was given 4x the typical starting dose of testosterone hormone replacement therapy by a nurse practitioner. Less than an hour. Pat Catterson, another young woman, less than an hour, expected that she would have to go through some sort of diagnostic process, but instead called a doctor from Planned Parenthood for 30 minutes on the phone and was given a prescription for testosterone. Thirty minutes. When you also consider that Planned Parenthood is probably the number one author of sex ed curriculum in our country today, influencing millions upon millions of young men and women in conversations about gender identity at school every day. How are people not realizing this is literally just a pyramid scheme to indoctrinate kids into thinking I was born in the wrong body, to call these clinics on the phone for half an hour, and to be given prescriptions of these drugs from planned parenthood themselves.
