Yes they are - a lot of courses in the UK make it mandatory to use a winter fairway mat this time of year to protect the course ⛳️😊❄️

We’re now on winter mats at our course. Apart from clubbing up do you have any other advice when using them?

@UNDERCOVER_JM In winter gold as junior I loved it as I could go hunting pins. Also kept the ball warm as much as I could between tee shots
