It's easier to find a key using the cycle of fifths or thirds. Learn your majors and minors on all 12 keys and you'd never have to waste time finding your root note or transposing.

Nice chord progressions and really great ears catching the key. I have to run a chromatic scale to catch keys.

Nice (some upgrade) 1. You learnt from a poor keyboardist.. 2. Always play by the ear✋ 3. (if you don't want to be mid) Learn not to transpose. (watch kirk Franklin old videos e. g cry) 4. Use g- flat, A or B flat (without transposing)

Next time Run a full scale of the notes including the flats and major from the lower octave of the keyboard. Low octave gives you a better clarity. @Elo_nicholas

Tip for next time, find your key before transposing. Make sure the transpose is on "0" then count the number to where that key is, much faster
