This has dramatically improved over the course of the first few games of this season due to a move away from a hybrid strategy to more a man-to-man strategy. There was a lot of discourse last night regarding the comical looking nature of the defending for Dundee Utd's 2nd goal, however, I'd like to give a lot of credit to Utd's corner routine and the way they went about getting a player free. Might of found a way to use this mechanic in comp. I've seen people do this on the floor a couple times but not really on the wall in this way. I do think this could be used in comp because of the sharp change in trajectory of the ball and it could seriously bait out players. Not to mention it can be done on any part of the wall so even off the ceiling. I'm already getting fairly consistent at it on one side and I've practiced it for a day. It feels like doing the breezi flick for the first time but this could be a more practical mechanic. If it can be done on command consistently it has ridiculous potential for passes and other stuff Not saying this is a new mechanic btw nor is it guaranteed to become meta but I love the idea of seeing innovation and new things in the game because there isn't much of it these days so I hope people aren't closed minded about it. Would love to hear opinions on it
