Not true literally u need to have talk with position, coordinator more then head. Head coaches trust their staff. N certain guys they have in the area. The kids not foster relationships and reaching out and building the relationship needed.

I had a head coach offer me, then the position coach back peddled.

Horrible to put these kids through silly games. Wish @NCAA would basically allow them to sign as soon as they're ready, that way schools also get more out of a *COMMITMENT* as well.

This isn't true. Some HCs sign off on coaches offering a kid without them meeting them. They discuss in meetings and put their boards together. Simply ask the coach "if I want to commit right now would you guys take me?" If it's not an absolute yes then it's not commitable.
