LOL, that tree placement is sinister. Those guys are incredible players, so they'll probably manage to avoid it most of the time, but they'll certainly have to adjust their shot a little bit. The tree will be playing mind games with them.

Guys, we have 4 days of play at The Players now. Can we agree the tree on hole 6 is awesome? Here is Rory today. Basic flighted 3 iron for one of the best players in the world. Yet not even close to the fairway. A mental test that players are failing. Hitting under the tree is no issue, but just the mental image alone is making guys so uncomfortable. When Pete Dye designed TPC Sawgrass, he had a tree here for a reason. Turns out the architect knew what he was doing! Let’s test the best players on earth!
