A small teaser of Astromeda! It's a game inspired by Pokemon, Undertale, and OneShot. Wishlist on Steam! #TrailerTuesday #indiegame #IndieGameDev #GamingNews #Steam

Dude Reboot on PS1 was my jam. At first, I thought the game was gay, but then it grew on me.

It's always cool to see how pathfinding scales with larger maps! Do you go for a classic A* approach, or have you experimented with flow fields or navmesh generation? Tweaking these can really make or break open-world games IMO.

This is classic * with islands and bunch of other tricks to make it work with larger terrain, wanted to work with grids for this project. Would probably not work on single machine at the scale I am going for, but here islands are distributed across compute processors.
