Pool combined with Air Hockey, minus the air and sticks? 😮

Impossible is nothing

The amount of spectators has me thinking this is maybe the height of entertainment in this village.

He broke them

Meet Rajesh Kumar, not just any carrom player but a legend in his own right. Born in the bustling streets of Old Delhi, Rajesh was introduced to carrom by his grandfather, a former national champion, at the tender age of 5. His grandfather's stories of grand tournaments and skillful plays sparked a passion in Rajesh that would define his life. Growing up in a modest family, Rajesh's talent for carrom became evident early on. By 12, he was already defeating adults in local tournaments, his fingers moving with a precision that belied his age. His high school years were spent balancing studies with carrom, often practicing late into the night on a board his father crafted from spare wood. Rajesh's big break came when he won the Delhi State Championship at 18, catching the eye of a renowned coach who saw in him the potential to be a national star. Under this guidance, Rajesh refined his technique, developing a unique style that combined traditional flicks with innovative strategies he learned from chess, his second love. His career took a dramatic turn when he was invited to represent India in the International Carrom Federation (ICF) World Championship in 2010. There, he not only won the gold but also introduced the world to his signature move, 'The Rajesh Spin', where he could make the striker spin unpredictably after impact, confusing opponents and delighting spectators. Beyond the board, Rajesh is known for his community work. He runs a carrom academy in his neighborhood, teaching underprivileged kids not just the game but also life skills like patience, strategy, and resilience. His academy has produced several regional champions, continuing his legacy. Now, at 40, Rajesh still plays, his skills undiminished, his passion unwaning. The video you see is from a friendly match at his academy, where he's not just playing; he's mentoring the next generation. Rajesh Kumar isn't just a carrom player; he's a mentor, a legend, and a beacon of hope in his community. 🌟🎯

He about to send everybody back home broke 🤣

Huh. That's a really cool game. Did this exists recently or was it done for centuries?

I don't even understand the rules of this game but I can tell he's really good at it

Looks fun, reminds me of a mix of pool & table hockey.
