Playing Resident Evil 4 in VR and this is such a COOL experience I’ve already played RE4R on the PSVR2, now doing OG RE4 on Quest 3 and it just hits different, love the interactive touches like letting you write with the typewriter So much fun, amazing VR experience... show more

The VR in Quest RE4 feels way better than the VR of the PS5 the one on quest feels like the VR was made for it.

Yeah I think they def put way more care into smaller VR interactions in this one, RE4R VR is great but its less “smooth”

Pisses me off so bad how they shut the studio which made this down, this is such a well done port of a game which literally sold headsets for them

They shut down all their first party studios which is a shame, I hope their new push into just sponsoring outside studios to make games works out though as I want more cool VR games

@fakeswifterino Go play Asgard's wrath 2,DeadpoolVR and BatmanArkhamShadow if not already done

@SynthPotato Yes indeed

why are you sweating so hard NERD

You can’t even aim…

Is this on Meta Quest? I wouldn’t mind buying RE4 for the (…counting…) 5th time

Yeah its an exclusive for the Quest

Wow I can’t read. I just saw PS4VR2 and glazed over the rest

would have loved a PS VR 2 mode for RE9 😢

Same, such a missed opportunity to not have any VR in requiem

Have it on Quest. I need to play this again. Shooting fish at The Lake in VR is so much fun.

ill...............

On quest3 with QGO you can play the game at 176% of his resolution. Insanely clear

I like to think that Leon canonically have an out of body experience every time he kicks someone

VR really is one of the best way to play it, I beat it twice back to back because how fun it was to play. Really wish they added this on more platforms so more people can enjoy it

Agreed now I want the rest of the games in vr like 7 for the psvr with a little tweaking

Bro is moving holy

Try it on PSvr2 if you can, one of the best VR game

Already finished that version, it was great

RE9 VR would go hard as fuck and I’d personally buy a psvr2 but that specific reason

There’s so much love devs put into this. I especially love puzzles in this version. Damn, they even added chimneys to fireplaces in village houses (which actually are not present in og and even in a remake). So much attention to details 🩵

A+ experience, one of the best

I had the game since 2021, but never really messed with it too outside of the opening village segment due to low storage. Yet the moment I heard there were Golden Weapon Skins if you beat all 20 Mercenaries challenges back in December, I immediately grinded for them.

@DPomaDisfarcado

I still, to this day, say this is THE quintessential game to own for Quest.

Scared in VR hits differently than flat screen

OG RE4 in VR must feel insane

I hope capcom add psvr2 support to re9.

RE4 VR is the peak of what meta quest offers natively. It don't get much better than this. I racked up hundreds of hours just playing this game when i had my meta headset. VR is the best way to experience resident evil games imo

No yea this shit was insanely amazing. I loved every bit of it. Played it multiple times. Being able to dual wield guns was awesome too.

That typewriter interaction is so immersive

so im going to asume its much more fast paced that Half life Alyx

Shame its locked to the meta quest

Been saying it since this game dropped Pick any FPS game, put it in VR, blow minds

Dumb question How do you actually move in this vr game? You hold the controller to aim and shoot and look But how do you actually move yourself? Non vr user here.

Played both and completed both multiple times, re4 remake and village on ps5 are leap years ahrad

Sadly the studio is closed down. So we'll never get anlther awesome port like this

VR takes RE4 to another level that typewriter interaction is a game-changer.

I have to give this a go. I’ve had it but haven’t played it.

The quests re4 was really well done, if you haven't already tried you can technically dual wield weapons, I did it alot with the tmp and pistol.

So to do this you need to link the Quest to Steam, right? Is that a pain, or pretty simple?

No, its an exclusive game for the Quest, runs on the headset natively
