Playing this on my 3DS was crazy..

the consistency with expressions and kh2/bbs style models helped out too

Last year, I played Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance on my 3DS for the first time, and seeing Xion here, after beating 358/2 Days, gave me chills! 😭😭😭😭

ironic bc a good chunk of the plot is kinda bad imo, but the music, lore drops and cutscenes were all quite great. esp this whole segment with sora falling deeper into a dream

3d was my first kh game and when i got to this part of the game i was So confused like. who is that? what does that mean? who is that. had no clue what was going on.

Remember playing this on the 3DS and being gobsmacked by how good it looked. Absolutely mogged nearly everything else on that console.

DDD is over hated and im tired of people pretending its bad

The whole Sora part of The World That Never Was is extreamly good, too bad the game has its issues with the story in general because otherwise these scenes could add even more

KH3D really showed the difference in power between the DS and 3DS because what do you mean this was a handheld game running and looking this good? Days and Coded was 3 pixels compared to this.

I grew up with this kingdom hearts the cutscenes were pure cinema.

Seeing KH2 Sora in DDD made me really sad because it made me wish I was playing that game instead.

I remember playing this in my 3ds secretly under my cover late at night when I was supposed to be sleeping. Even tho legally this game isn’t the best but to me it has a special throne in my heart. You can even say…..Kingdom Hearts. I’ll leave

I wonder if the series would have held up with this art style. Maybe with a little more polish :( (adding more polygons, for example xD)

i have issues with DDDs story and what its done to the story since, but DDD really feels like the last time a KH game felt like a KH game

Very fun game. In my opinion, it has the best opening sequence in the series.
