I absolutely love that you can play retro flat games from several consoles and handhelds native on the Quest 3 without any type of side loading required with this new application Retro Game Dev VR. You have to source your own backups of the games but I love it. And the room looks fantastic on Quest 3 too. You can play at a desk on a small CRT monitor on your large CRT TV or on a handheld while laying in bed. Oh and spatial audio too.

You can explore these AI-generated worlds on #VisionPro in 2 ways 👇 Option 1 is to get a link directly from Marble, the platform from World Labs that has recently opened beta access and allows users to use a prompt image to generate worlds as #GaussianSplatting. You just click on share and get a link you can input in your browser's headset. The viewer has several limitations since you cannot adjust scale, set the starting point or navigate the scene freely. Option 2 is to use Supersplat from Will Eastcott and his team. There you can do some editing and once in VR you can navigate around, looking and pinching to explore the generated portions of the model more freely. If you are into Gaussian Splatting and #VR remember to check out the list of updated tools that allow you to experience Gaussian Splatting in any headset. Exclusive first look at Orbit. What is it? It's a new kind of brain/computer interface. It stimulates your brain from outside of your head, so no surgery needed like a Neuralink requires. This is a prototype, but they are building much smaller patches that will stick behind your ears. So, you'll wear them while in a new kind of AI-driven headset. You'll see many of those announced next year. These will be ready for 2026, so not a product you can buy right now, but should only cost a couple of hundred dollars at retail. What does it do? It messes with both your own motor system and how you feel about things while experiencing new realities in, say, a VR headset. When I got to wear it I felt myself leaning to the left or right. I could control that myself, or someone else (or an AI) could control me too. One mode made my body wig out, felt like a wave was going through my body. Sounds scary, but will enable a whole new range of VR/AR experiences that won't be possible without it. This has deep implications for how you feel when playing games, for instance. It also should be able to finally solve the "VR nausea" many feel when inside a VR headset. I filmed this on my Apple Vision Pro. If you have one I'll post a link to the 3D version of this video so you can enjoy there. A new kind of video of a new kind of device. My main reaction? Wow. Here is how you turn a #GaussianSplatting into a walkable world with 2 clicks. First of all, do yourself a favour and try out PostShot. The splat you see was created from a 3-minute video taken with my phone. It ran for around 12 hours on a laptop with a 3060, and the output was beyond my expectations! That being said, whatever tool or app you use to create your Splat, you can import it directly into arrival.space from there you can: - Clean it up and compress it thanks to the direct integration with Supersplat Editor - Generate a rough mesh (that you can export with a paid plan and adjust in Blender ) - Explore it freely on the #web or in #VR Make sure to drop your Space in the comments. Would love to see it!

If you want to be a successful trader, you really need to want it. If you think you’re gonna do this on the side, you know make some money and then go do some photography or art the rest of your life, you’re not gonna make it.
