‼️MY REACTION TO Jesse Ridgway TURNING HIS ABORTION DECISION INTO CONTENT: The one thing missing from the discussion was the person. The child. The human being at the center of it all. And I couldn't stop thinking about something. What would a person with Down syndrome think reading that tweet? Having children is one of the most selfless acts a human being can undertake. You are voluntarily accepting uncertainty. The entire journey of parenthood is an exercise in loving someone whose future you cannot control. That's the deal. But somewhere along the way we've started treating children like consumer products. We ask whether the child fits our plans. Whether the child matches our expectations. Whether the child will provide the experience we envisioned. And when a diagnosis arrives that changes those expectations, the conversation often becomes about whether the child still meets the standard. That isn't parenthood. That's consumerism. And then there is one final thing I can't shake. The need to announce it. Not to close friends. Not to family. To the entire world. To a bunch of strangers online. Maybe that's the part that disturbs me most. Because we've entered a strange moment in our culture. Every private experience must become content. Every tragedy becomes a post. Every intimate decision becomes engagement. Every deeply personal moment becomes public consumption. And I found myself wondering: Was today the day that aborting your child became content? As Christians, we believe every person is made in the image of God. Every person. Join me tonight in praying for both this couple, and the sweet soul that they sent to Heaven way too early.

Nick Wright says everything about Wemby feels tenuous and a little scary, it’s why he’s so special: “The flip side of the coin of we’ve never seen a guy be able to tip dunk his own missed three, we’ve never seen a guy be able to protect the paint while guarding the three point line. Is what goes along with having a body that size is just more times your going to say I’ve never seen it. Normally it’s amazing and then the other night it was, I’ve never seen a NBA player fall quite like that and this sounds like a ridiculous thing to say, I don’t know the actual math on this, but just visual because I’ve seen guys fall like that and I’ve seen guys fall like that and hit their face on the ground it felt to me because of the extra length of torso almost that by the time his head hit the ground it was just going a little bit faster it gained more velocity. And it wasn’t lost on me that the highlight of game one, the on where they showed Duncan and Robinson going like “ Oh my God” was when Wemby took the ball at half court did the spin move in the paint and then dunked. That was almost exact same thing he was trying to do on this play. And like when, it’s the size plus the style. He’s not just planting himself in the paint, like he’s out there moving. And it is the elephant in the room on any of the, how many MVPs? How many championships? It’s like, man. How nervous are you going to be every time this giant of a man falls.” (Via What’s Wright? with Nick Wright)

I didn’t expect Crimson Desert to grow on me this much, but here we are. 🫢 After putting more hours into Crimson Desert and getting close to the ten hour mark, I’ll be honest: my opinion of the game has shifted in a much more positive direction. Combat feels significantly better now that I’ve unlocked more skills, exploration is a ton of fun, and while the story is basically nonexistent, I personally don’t mind since I’m not the type of player who needs heavy narrative to enjoy a game. I’ve also done a few puzzles, and so far I’m really enjoying them. I genuinely appreciate that the game does not hold your hand. Enough with the yellow paint in every modern game. Developers should just force us to actually think 🤣 I’m constantly unlocking or discovering something new every couple of minutes. The game is absolutely massive. On the technical side, most of the visual issues I had are now gone after turning off DLSS and playing at native resolution, along with lowering lighting from Max to Cinematic. One of these changes, or maybe both, made the game far more stable, and visually it now looks phenomenal. I still find myself stopping just to admire how beautiful it is. My rating has gone from a 7-7.5 to an 8.5-9, and based on what I’ve played so far, that jump feels completely justified. The overall takeaway is that Crimson Desert does not fully click until you unlock more of its systems. The early hours undersell it, but once combat, exploration, puzzles and the world open up, the experience becomes dramatically better. I also love this intro when you start the game or load a save. It gives the whole experience a special feeling and sets the tone perfectly every single time. :)

🚨IF THIS HAPPENS, MONDAY COULD BE A BLOODBATH And most people aren't ready for it. Two straits. 25% of the world's oil supply runs through them. This isn't a temporary supply disruption it's a structural break in the energy system the entire global economy was built on top of. And oil keeps pumping every time the U.S. and Iran trade blows. It's already ripped above $100 a barrel. Just sit with that number. Here's what rising oil actually does. It doesn't just raise gas prices. It raises the cost of making, shipping, and growing everything. Every product manufactured, packaged, and delivered has an energy cost baked in. When oil moves, all of it moves quietly, with a lag until it all lands in the same inflation print at once. And that print kills whatever rate-cut hope was still alive. The Fed was already hiking into a slowing economy. Now they're hiking into a supply shock with no end date. That combination has a name. It was last seen in the 1970s, and it ended careers, governments, and decades of prosperity: STAGFLATION. High inflation, stagnant growth, a central bank with no good options only two bad ones. Cut, and inflation explodes into a broken energy market. Hike, and you crush an economy already buckling. There's no third choice. No policy tool built for two blocked straits at once. Now stack everything already broken on top: → AI bubble deflating → Strategy selling Bitcoin at a loss → Japan dumping Treasuries → MSTR down 81% → SpaceX unlocks hitting in weeks → The S&P held up by eight stocks that are already cracking Every one of those was a problem before oil moved. Rising energy makes all of them worse at the same time - margins compress, earnings miss, and valuations sitting at 100-year extremes have zero room to absorb it. Stocks, bonds, crypto, real estate everything priced for a soft landing reprices for the exact opposite. Oil doesn't need to hit $150 to break things. It just needs to stay high long enough for the math to catch up to the prices. This sounds scary, but I'll keep you updated here. When I rotate money, I'll post every move. Many will regret not following sooner.

Lucas Crespo (Lucas Crespo 📧 ) is the mastermind behind Every 📧 's visual vibe—and he does it one prompt at a time. As our creative lead, Lucas uses tools like native image gen in ChatGPT and Midjourney to generate the cover images you see every day. He also designs the interfaces for our products—Cora, Spiral, and Sparkle—and makes everything on our site feel as thoughtful and delightful as possible. We get into: - Why Every’s aesthetic feels familiar and new at the same time. Every’s aesthetic plays with the tension between the old (like Greek statues and Baroque symbols) and the new (like saturated colors and modern motifs) to make the glamor of the past feel fresh. - Art direction matters more than ever today. As AI makes it easier to generate images, Lucas says the real work of design is shifting toward art direction, specifically, curating an aesthetic that feels “organic;” on his X timeline that’s showing up as clouds, earthy landscapes, and textures. - Reimagining what a website can be with AI. Lucas compares most websites to identical buildings—predictable, efficient, and forgettable—and wonders how AI can help us break that mold by designing experiences that prioritize serendipity over speed, and curiosity over control. - Behind the scenes of Cora’s visual aesthetic. How Lucas designed the landing page and launch video for Cora by rooting it in the product’s philosophy: turning the inbox from a source of chaos into something that feels calm, thoughtful—like stepping into spring. - The future of internet interfaces. Lucas believes the future of digital interfaces will be curated with the same care as a film set or ad campaign, where every detail is chosen with intention. Lucas also walks us through how he created the headline image for Every’s consulting page—a human and robotic hand fist-bumping—using Midjourney to iterate from rough prompt to polished visual. This is a must watch for anyone interested in the future of design and making the internet a little more beautiful every day. Watch below! Timestamps: 1. Introduction: 00:01:41 2. How AI changed the course of Lucas’s career: 00:04:02 3. Why Every’s aesthetic feels both familiar and fresh: 00:11:38 4. Why Lucas thinks minimalism is overrated: 00:16:19 5.
