I love how Marsellus is so incredibly calm and relaxed while one of his own employees yells at him. Most bosses would be all like "I'm your boss, you can't fucking speak to me that way, your goddamn ass is fucking fired" but Marsellus is relaxed, repeats exactly what Jules says and then comes up with an even better situation than the one that Jules asked for. Not to mention, I fucking love, not just the way Ving Rhames performs this scene, but the way Ving Rhames performs every single scene that's in, not just in this movie, but every single movie that he's in.

Cool anecdote from Scottie Scheffler today on playing with Tiger for the first time in competition and how that round helped shape his competitive instincts and spirit.

Another Russian beggar, reduced to poverty by Putin’s “greatness,” decided to sell himself to the army for contract money and test his luck in Ukraine. A simple farewell: a table, a bottle, dancing. Look how poor he is. They’re sending the broke “orc” off to Putin’s war

There is this account on instagram run by some British woman who moved to Zimbabwe with her Rhodesian husband and the entire purpose of the account is basically to say how safe and great it is there now etc (seems to be a fair few of these accounts popping up lately, almost feels inauthentic to tempt Whites back) All fun and games until there is some random African man coming to your door every single day harassing you for money and absolutely refusing to stop, and you feel like there is nothing at all you can do, whoops

Guided by the spirit of service and a steadfast commitment to people-centric governance, my engagements during the latter half of September remained focused on public welfare, inclusive development, and strengthening community-level initiatives. During this period, I participated in the Hyderabad Liberation Day celebrations at Parade Grounds, interacted with our annadatas as part of the #SevaSankalpAbhiyan, distributed assistive devices to Divyangjan, called on the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, and participated in Aangan Milan Sewa, with a focus on strengthening Anganwadis and enhancing their role in nurturing children and supporting mothers. Sharing some glimpses:

Watched Tron Legacy for the millionth time and realized this is what the Star Wars sequel should have been like and how Luke should have been treat. It should have been a father son story. Jeff Bridges is how you do a powerful character who has given up fighting and rediscovers the drive through his son and makes the ultimate sacrifice for the future generation. And it does it without coming across spiteful or pointless. Whilst maintaining his presence in the world even when he's not there. He's even allowed to make the final sacrifice to save the world without taking anything away from the new characters. "You did all this, for him! why!?" "He's my son" What you can do when you write legacy characters without spite, subversion or a mystery box mindset.

Remember this partnership between Javagal srinath (30* off 23) & Anil Kumble (16* off 19) v Australia in 1996 at Chinnaswamy on the occasion of Vijay Dashmi? They added 52* runs for 9th wicket to snatch the victory from Australia. #HappyDussehra
