@MaleCitymv @adamazim That is the tree I was talking about bro. It's a very nice one but the problem is when it rains, it the water accumulated will case branches to fall. So it is very important to prune it regularly. Hope they don't cut the whole tree for this

Congratulations to newly elected Malé City Council Mayor Adam Azim, Mayor of Male’ City, councillors, and Secretariat of MaleCityWDC. I am hopeful that the newly elected council will transform Malé City Council into a more accessible and transparent institution, including through regular and proactive public disclosures. I also hope all land giveaway deals are reconsidered with public interest, accountability, and maximum value for the people as the central focus. I thank all staff of Malé City Council for the welcoming and professional attitude they have maintained towards me throughout my term. A 100% Muslim country during Eid, and the streets are looking as dark and empty as a ghost town. But hey, who needs festive lights when we have the MDP? They must think our happiness is just an optional feature. The city council has the cash. They just chose to keep the streets dark. It is Eid, but we would never know it by looking outside. The public gave them a second chance. They blew it. Keeping a Muslim nation happy during its biggest holiday was just too much work. Maybe MDP thought the stars in the sky were enough decorations for everyone! This is not how it should be Dearest MDP Male' City Mayor Adam Azim! Where are the councillors of Male' City?? The duty of the council is to serve the public, not to play loud political games.
