Last night, a series of Geran-2 drone strikes were carried on Zaporizhzhia City. At least 14 impacts were recorded in two waves, primarily targeting industrial infrastructure and warehouses. Ukrainian air defence has become more active in Zaporizhzhia lately. Previously the anti-air fire was more chaotic, but lately there is a clear 10-15 seconds of shooting, followed by an explosion from the Geran hitting its target or getting shot down. It has become more coordinated, going after specific targets, resulting in more interceptions. This change in tactics suggests that new mobile air defence crews have been brought into the city.

A Russian drone is adjusting a fire with four guided thermobaric bombs on the position of one of our brigades near the village of Lyptsi, a key village on the approaches to Kharkiv. The small landing is literally demolished by powerful explosions, and the hits are very accurate. After this strike, with the help of a drone adjustment, a Russian assault group went to assault the landing site. They were supported from above by a drone that dropped grenades. And even in such difficult conditions and after such strikes, a group of Ukrainian soldiers survived. And they, all shell-shocked, did not run away or surrender. A few Ukrainians dug themselves out of the trenches completely covered with earth, got up, and suddenly met the Russian assault group with aimed fire. Ukrainian heroes withstand a high density of enemy strikes, they fight to the death for every meter of land near Kharkiv and do everything possible and impossible. They know that they will not be covered from the air, they know they will have to equip their positions on the front line themselves with shovels, they know that the enemy has a lot of force. But they are Ukrainians, and behind them is Kharkiv, and next to them are their brothers-in-arms, who are fighting and also repelling all Russian attacks. We need to destroy Russian aircraft on Russian territory. We need to save our Warrior Heroes.

Since last night, our emergency services have been working at the sites of the Russian strikes. A wicked attack – as of now, we know of dozens of wounded, including children and a pregnant woman. Sadly, four people have been killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. About 430 drones and 18 missiles were used in the strike, including ballistic and aeroballistic missiles. This was a deliberately calculated attack aimed at causing maximum harm to people and civilian infrastructure. In Kyiv alone, dozens of apartment buildings have been damaged. The Azerbaijani Embassy was hit by debris from an Iskander missile. The main target of the attack was Kyiv, and strikes also hit Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Odesa regions. According to preliminary data, the Russians used a Zircon missile in the Sumy region this morning. Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko has already reported on the progress of rescue operations at the sites. I am grateful to everyone helping our people. Commander of the Air Force Anatolii Kryvonozhko also reported on the results of our air defense work. I thank our warriors for their effective actions. Ukraine is responding to these strikes with long-range strength, and the world must stop these attacks on life with sanctions. Russia is still able to sell oil and build its schemes. All of this must end. A great deal of work is underway with partners to strengthen our air defense, but it is not enough. We need reinforcement with additional systems and interceptor missiles. Europe and the United States can help. We are counting on real decisions. Thank you to everyone who helps.

I discussed priorities for supporting Ukraine in the military and energy sectors with Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre. It’s important to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense and advance the PURL initiative, which enables us to purchase missiles for air defense systems from the United States. Protected skies over Ukraine are one of the key factors that will force Russia to end this war. We also discussed continuing energy assistance to Ukraine. I thank Norway and the Prime Minister for all the help provided, including the protection of our people's lives with NASAMS missiles and assistance to our energy sector. The Strike Unmanned Systems Platoon of the 47th Magura Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Both of these units are the pinnacle of the world's drone warfare and part of formidable and renowned brigades; their names echo through the ranks of the Ukrainian military and chill spines throughout the ranks of the Russians. These units unleash utter devastation and death onto the Russian forces; they turn the ground the Russians walk on into a living hell, a place in which their supplies, their troops, their back-up, every thing gets deleted, their every fucking hope and dreams turn into an unimaginable shitshow of despair. If it has a pulse, a heat signature, or a set of keys, it's getting turned into fucking fairy dust around these guys. The 1st FPV Strike Platoon PNK Group of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade provides close tactical strikes, reconnaissance, and direct-fire/loitering-munition effects in support of assault operations on the frontlines. The unit uses high-speed FPV strike drones and larger multirotor bomber drones, and is integrated with the brigade’s reconnaissance and assault companies. The Strike Unmanned Systems Platoon of the 47th “Magura” Separate Mechanized Brigade is a dedicated strike/attack unmanned-systems platoon. It conducts aerial strikes, close support to mechanized units, battlefield reconnaissance, and interdiction of light vehicles and enemy personnel using FPV strike drones and larger strike UAVs. These men work in the most dangerous areas, where they are needed the most; they oppose the biggest threats on the front lines, they cause the most devastation, but they need our help. Given the type of work that they do, they need to move fast, they need to be invisible, and strike before the enemy knows they are there and be back a camp drinking tea whilst the Russians are still collecting their comrades remains with a fucking carpet vacuum hoover. With your help I'm trying to send them 2 NAFO Truck 3.0's with the NAFO 69th Sniffing Brigade. These trucks are the 69th Brigade's newest and most kitted-out trucks made specifically for units like this. Above all, they are reliable; they have two fitted electronic-warfare drone jammers for different ranges and frequencies to protect the vehicle when it moves, it has night vision so the driver can watch a screen and drive in the pitch black as you cannot use headlights on the frontline, they have serious battery packs to run operations off when out for prolongued periods of time, they also include a spare set of heavy-duty off-road tyres to help them get through the mud to keep them mobile. These new NAFO Truck 3.0s even have FPV drone-spectrum scanners, which means if a Russian drone is in the air, they not only know it's there, they can see which type of drone it is and they can even watch the video feed that the Russians can see so they know exactly where it is. This strike was carried out using a Russian guided aerial bomb—a strike that could have been prevented if our Defense Forces had the capability to destroy Russian military aircraft at their bases. We need strong decisions from our partners to stop this terror. This is an absolutely legitimate need. There is no rational reason to limit Ukraine’s defense. We need long-range capabilities and the full implementation of air defense agreements for Ukraine. These are life-saving measures.

Take a listen to the sounds above my home—and thousands of Ukrainian homes—this morning. Air defense is repelling Russian strikes. Ukraine has been under massive air attack since last night, with ballistic, cruise, and cluster missiles, as well as hundreds of drones, targeting people throughout the country. While Russia claims to be preparing for meetings to discuss peace, what it actually does is attack, terrorize, and destroy. Speaking of meetings, Russia has not so far sent us, Türkiye, the United States, or anyone else its so-called "memorandum." No one even knows what they are going to talk about. Instead, Russia launches new deadly attacks against Ukraine. Unlike the mythical "memorandum," we can clearly see and hear Russia’s true “messages”, its missiles and drones. Everyone needs to hear and see that Russia clearly rejects peace, ceasefire, and any constructive proposals from around the world. Russia will only become serious about peace once it feels another level of pressure.

How Ukraine reached parity with Russia in long-range capabilities Analysts from the Back And Alive Foundation analyzed Ukraine's transition from local frontline strikes to the systemic employment of long-range drones. The volume of drones Ukraine has launched has surged from 110 units in January 2024 to over 7,000 in March 2026. Throughout 2025, Ukraine increased our launch frequency fivefold. In March 2026, Ukraine even managed to surpass the Russia in the number of launched and recorded drones. Flight Geography and Extreme Ranges 🔹Ukrainian drones are increasingly detected at facilities located hundreds and thousands of kilometers from the frontline. The number of Russian regions where they are spotted is steadily growing. 🔹This evolution is not just about quantity, but also about a significant increase in operational range. For instance, in February 2026, an oil refinery in the city of Ukhta (Komi Republic) was struck—over 1,800 km from the Ukrainian border. A Nightmare for Russian Air Defense 🔹As Ukraine deploys more drones, Russian air defense forces must track and intercept a vastly higher number of simultaneous targets, leading to system saturation. 🔹The Russian military is forced to make a choice: protect assets near the frontline to cover their troops, or deploy systems deep into the interior to defend industrial and energy infrastructure. Given Russia’s vast landmass, it is physically impossible to cover all critical sites with limited resources. 🔹Furthermore, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to degrade Russian air defense capabilities.
