Not for glory. But for the person to their left and their right. For this country—for something greater than themselves. We get to live with the benefits of their sacrifice. The freedoms. I’ve been seeing lately people claiming to support PTI are openly siding with groups like BLA and TTP. Mocking the shahadats of our soldiers was already disgusting, but celebrating them? That’s a new low, even for this divided nation. Shame on anyone who stoops so low as to celebrate the blood of those who die protecting you! And let’s be clear do you think this damages the Army? No a big eefing NO Wake up! The Army isn’t the one in danger. It’s us you, me, our families, our homes. TTP and BLA aren’t fighting the Army because they have some personal vendetta; they hate it because it’s the shield standing between them and their real target: us. Without that shield, they’ll come for every one of us. So, go ahead, hold your grievances with the Army. But don’t cross the line into celebrating terrorism and betraying the ones who protect you. Supporting those who want to kill innocent Pakistanis doesn’t make you a revolutionary; it makes you a traitor to yourself, to your family, and to this nation.
