Early in AAA would be a waste because he’s clearly a starter in MLB rite now. He has the upside to be a real # 2 or 3 pitcher on this Club rite now. And imo he can out pitch any of these guys outside of Crochet on any given day. He showed last year he isn’t a fluke.

In the same game Jason Delay (C) was 3/3 today, with a double. In 15 AB this Spring, he is 7/15 with 2 HR and 1 2B, batting .467 and .500+ OBP In stark contrast, Connor Wong has 2 for 26, batting .077. 2 singles. That’s it. Wong was on Browne’s list. Delay was not.

Early was stellar today against NYY. 5 IP 0 R 1H 7K. He has the lowest ERA (1.59) and has pitched more innings (17), than any of the 5 SP on Ian Browne’s list.
