It looks like dialysis is becoming more difficult to achieve. We have been searching for a living (altruistic) donor. We’ve not yet found one. Amber’s form of #CKD is very rare. As a result her kidney needs to come from a living donor, (Cont…)

as post transplant she will need over 2 months of intensive treatment, including an immune suppressing targeting cancer drug. Weeks and weeks of plasmapheresis therapy. All on top of the transplant and aftercare itself. It will be a living hell. (Cont…)

I know this as I’ve already been through it with her sister Daisy. But I’m also lucky enough to watch Daisy skip off to school each morning. I don’t have to attach her to a machine for 12 hours every day just so we can have a tomorrow like I used to, and like I do with Amber…

I can’t even begin to imagine what you’re all going through and only wish I was in a position to help, so sorry I’m not

You always follow our story and send lovely messages and warmth to our family. Believe me when I say you do help. 💜💙💜

I'm sorry Amber is going through this. Dialysis is hard at any age but particularly for those so young. Sending positive vibes to you all🙏❤️

Thank you Nick. It’s horrible watching them have to fight every day. It’s not a part of parenting you sign up for. We will fight everyday. ✌🏼💜
