If she has not done so, sometimes universities will take on cases, and sometimes even free for those with low income. IDK if LSU school of dentistry does this still, but I was part of their program years ago. So, she may be able to do the same.

Medicaid & Medicare do pay for a lot of dental services & procedures including dentures. If she's special needs she would probably qualify for even more dental services than a non special needs adult. BTW, it's very difficult to get Medicaid/MediCare to cover pain meds.

That is not her experience. There is no dental.
