Try a rewind and flip it and rewind it again three or four times. Sometimes they get tight in a spot or two and it puts tension on the tape which activates the Auto stop function in the cassette player.

When you buy a new blank tape fast forward it on side A and then side B. See if that works for you! 👄👄👄👄
