As an Indian born to a Muslim family (Agakhan Muslim), I'm proud of our National Emblem the Ashoka Stambh symbolizing peace & justice from our shared history. It doesn't offend me or my faith one bit! The real outrage for me is a mob smashing a plaque at the Hazratbal Shrine over this. In a democracy, violence like that is UNACCEPTABLE especially against our nation's symbols. I have a tattoo of our tricolor 🇮🇳 on me with Jai Hind Jai Bharat written!! Will this mob now cut my hand or head ? In our JamatKhana ( mosque) compund we raise the national flag, sing the national anthem even do yoga and play dandiya! Let's unite, not divide! #IndiaFirst #UnityInDiversity #ProudIndian

That we’re all embarrassed by Old Glory and ready to apologize for loving our country. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. Last night, Team USA took down Paraguay 4-1 in the FIFA World Cup, and in places like Charleston, South Carolina, thousands of Americans showed up in full red, white, and blue, belts packed into watch parties, singing every single word of the National Anthem loud and proud before the game even started. And it wasn’t just there—living rooms, bars, restaurants, and gatherings all across this great nation were doing the exact same thing. No matter what the loud voices on TV try to tell us, Americans still love America. We still stand for the flag. We still cheer for our team. We still know there’s something truly special about this land. And we will not apologize for it. The American spirit is alive and well. America is back, y’all. Let’s keep showing up like this. 🇺🇸⚽️

Naptime for Bumpy, with no detail spared: a soft bean bag, a cosy blanket, and a special nanny to watch him as he sleeps! Pips the giraffe loves to look after the little orphans – so naturally she was very excited to meet the small, stout hippo who just entered the fold. Bumpy is our newest rescue. After his mother died, the little orphan spent at least a day huddled by her body before the Kenya Wildlife Service found him and brought him into our care. Now at our Kaluku Unit, he is really settling in – and sleeping in! You can become part of Bumpy’s journey – read his full rescue story and support him through an adoption:

Musk, his investment and his brilliance, is very welcome in Britain. The world's greatest entrepreneur has a special connection to Britain - instead of celebrating and embracing that, our mad Government use their platform to hound and abuse him.
