Time to taste your own medicine. For years people of Middle East has developed this capacity to bear the pain of life losses and capacity to go through war. It’s just the day 2 of what you started.

This is IT, Sid. Iran has never been more exposed. Hezbollah is badly degraded, Hamas all but nonexistent, Syria willing to standby with a new leader, and the rest of the Sunni Mideast tacitly on Israel’s side. Iran’s air defenses destroyed — Israel completely owns the skies, which is the key in that region (nobody’s launching a ground war there). Israel has a half dozen submarines offshore. Israel may never see another moment like this re: Iran. What it decides to do next determines history there for the remainder of our lives. I hope it comes from a bargaining table, with limited loss of life. I know it likely won’t. But let’s not kid ourselves — this is the moment.
