As a grandmother, we struggle to find a connection with our grandchildren. We think about them all the time. You are so fortunate to have him. Please take a day and bring a camera/notebook and ask him questions about his childhood, his first love, how did he meet grandma, et.

The old ways are still the best ways.

Some of this is just do to a different era. Cutting articles/comics and mailing wasn't uncommon between my family and friends. Used to write personal letters all the time. Sunday night was when I would usually do it. Kind of miss those days. Technology has erased a lot of this.

Grandparents are wonderful

My 95 year old uncle did this when I was studying for grad school when I didn’t know what I wanted to do in life. 😢
