many of times i see murties on roadside, its very sad to see , the ones that brought the idol has left it to a road, atleast they could have done visarjan in a big bucket or something like that, assuming there are no ponds, rivers or lake nearby

Point is, the authorities have still not devised a common program for safe visarjan in all districts in India. It’s sad we are in the 78th year of independence and they have not been able to do it. No control over the making of the idols and no control over the visarjan. What rules and regulations (within reason) we have?
