Democrats continue to do mental gymnastics to justify their support for the drug smuggling cartel members. I truly wish these same people would show that amount of support for the victims of the illegal immigrants in our own country, or the homeless veterans who defended our nation. Why do liberals always seem to direct their efforts towards trying to help the criminals rather than the victims or law enforcement?

Some on the Left are now arguing that the Second Amendment somehow justifies physically interfering with law enforcement. That is not what the Constitution says. At all. Let me set the record straight. You absolutely have the right to carry a gun. Period. Full stop. You do not have the right to act in ways that are irresponsible or harmful to others, especially law enforcement. I really thought this was obvious, but in order to try and drive the message home to as many people as possible, this clip from my townhall is followed by a PSA. Stay strapped. Stay calm. Stay alive. Don’t fight the police.

How about inside an abortion clinic? When the conversation of reparations comes up, people always focus on what it is going to cost. We need to focus on what we are going to gain. This nation can absolutely afford to do reparations. It can not afford NOT to do reparations. I make some of these points during a live TV interview on a news station in Charleston. It was probably not the most politically astute thing to do to speak about reparations during what just a four minute interview where I could not discuss all the nuances of the matter. It will probably not win me much support. However, it was the right thing to do.
