Imagine being told that “we want you to take a bullet for the country but we will not let you lead your own force.” This is exactly what the Modi Govt is doing to our CAPF officers through a new Bill. CAPF officers who work in combat conditions will now be led by IPS officers on 5-year deputations who are being placed there to do the bidding of politicians. Personnel of CAPF get ZERO facilities & work in the harshest conditions. Instead of bringing a Bill to improve facilities & working conditions for the CAPF, the Modi Govt has instead chosen to discriminate against them. My speech in Parliament yesterday 👇

They also clear the UPSC exam; everything has been documented. But the government lost in the Supreme Court, and despite this, they have passed this ‘black law’. NEW: Probate Judge Christina Peterson arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer in Atlanta, Georgia. According to Atlanta Police, an officer working an extra job at a restaurant approached a woman after he noticed her crying. When the officer approached, he was hit in the head by Peterson who "appeared to be under the influence." When the officer arrested her and took her to jail, Peterson refused to give him her name. She is now facing felony obstruction of a police officer and simple battery against a police officer.
