Hardly anyone on the road seems to know how to use their high beams properly. Plenty of modern cars even have automatic high beams, yet many drivers don’t seem to know how to turn them on.

Don’t forget if the fog is super thick and you have to cross the road to roll down your windows and listen for cars coming.

The number of people on the road who don't seem to realise that the daytime running lights mean no tail lights 🤦‍♀️. Scary in poor visibility.

+fog lights only when it's foggy +never light bars on public roadways +quit flashing high beams before you pass, just pass +the signal that it's clear to move over has NEVER been flashing high beams. It's just off on off on. If you can't do that, do nothing.

Absolutely! This needs to be reposted every fall. I have been driving since 1965. Through every bad weather imaginable. I was taught everything he is explaining, and it is important to make sure our kids know this when driving.

The bright light part is not taught in Ghanaian driving school. Once it get dark, everyone put their highlights one.

FYI - Those white lines on the side of the road are for trucks. They designate the lane is 12' wide. It makes a big difference if you're pulling a 53' long 102" wide trailer (especially in the southern states).

Great advice, but MOST young drivers are HEAVILY medicated and spatially challenged. This is the reason, IMHO, that they always camp out in the left lane. That right side stripe is WAY too far away.
