We all will have expectations about how life is supposed to be and how people are supposed to be. But we can’t control the way that others act or whether they meet your expectations. So when we hold on to those expectations and they’re not met we create pain. What we can control is how we respond. We can choose to let go of expectation and open ourselves to something new. 🌱❤️ #DateWithDestiny2025

Yesterday on #MorningJoe, we addressed Donald Trump’s remarks at the National Prayer Breakfast. At a moment meant for humility and reflection, Trump chose insults, mockery, and open contempt, not only toward Democrats, but toward anyone who didn’t fall in line. What was most troubling was the reaction. Laughter. Applause. Silence where conscience should have spoken. We are judged not only by what we say, but by how we respond when others demean, divide, and disrespect the values they claim to represent. When cruelty is met with cheers, it reveals a deeper moral failure.
